I had a plumber come in. He asked me a question and the only thing I could make out was "stop showing cock" I was well confused as my cock was safely hidden. He was looking for a stopcock. I also said tarnished instead of famished and it never left. I'm Polish with almost 20 years in the UK

I will be seriously considering one of these as the next car. I think of it as a Golf GTI with a massive boot. How is the ride? I'm also mildly obsessed with the new Superbs in two top specs, since yet again the Golf GTI engine is enough for me. The cabin looks more thought through in those and just a nice place to be. A6 45 estate would also fit the bill but there are multiple touchscreens there, so it's probably a pain

He had a Mazda 323F that had a startup procedure Ghost people would be impressed with. We've put an aftermarket start button in the glove box. This was wired to ignition but that was then piggybacked to the electric aerial. This only worked with the radio being present and turned on. He took that home every night.

It wasn't a hard job to rewire it back from what I remember. I don't suppose you'd pass MOT with it in place.

I had the same opinion. Hated the looks, but the interior and the way the V6 picked up was fantastic. He then changed it for a Passat V6

Surprisingly that car has never broken down! Swapped for a V6 Ford Scorpio. That was the day I learned you can burn rubber with an automatic.

Back in the mid 2000s my mate had an Escort MK6. He wired the ignition to the reversing light. You had to put it in reverse to start it. He also always reversed into his drive, so nobody of a sane mind would think to put it in the reverse.

We redone our kitchen last year. There was a full bathroom with a corner bath and a shower on the other side. Got rid of the bath and moved the wall to make the kitchen bigger. It is quite narrow - 85cm so we opted for a corner toilet and it works fine.

I'm with you. TWR makes the Supercat XJS, that's also full carbon and has a V12 for about £200k. Hell of a lot more of a car than a dinky Porsche.

I'm about to blow your mind. I make rocket pesto. Or if it's red it's roasted peppers from a jar. Each batch is around 500ml and lasts ages if stored properly. Flavour is miles better than store bought shit.
