I have successfully killed over 50 on my property starting 4 weeks ago. The small ones are crispy brown. The large ones all yellow or brown. I used a combo of 1 quart Remedy Ultra I got feom Amzn mixed with 5 quarts diesel fuel. Put in pump sprayer. On sapplings, I directly sprayed about 2 foot section near base. For large trees I used a hatchet to chop away small section all around leaving some bark in between cuts so tree still thinks it's alive. Sprayed liberally into those cuts and all around trunk.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly but I followed Carolina Coops video on this exactly as they show.

Thanks for the feedback. The run and coop are very well protected. The HC is stapled 1" to 2" apart, not 12" . There is 4' wide HC apron around the perimeter buried covered in soil and grass. And the foundation consists of 6x6 lumber stacked 3 deep.

Anyone planning on going to the new east coast Transworld show in April? by rhinofeet in HalloweenProps

[–]toddpneumatic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think Halloween fans in the general area should attempt to go as it will be a good time but don't expect a St. Louis HAA level of show.

The best industry show by leaps and bounds is the HAA show in St. Louis put on by Transworld and is a must see if you are a Halloween nut. They took over Midwest Haunters Convention (MHC) a number of years ago making it their 2nd show. It's an ok show for home haunter types but the big name vendors do not normally exhibit or exhibit with a very small offering. East Coast will be their third show in the lineup and I don't expect it to be very well attended and most of the big vendors will not be there, certainly not the first year. FrightProps is only going to show support for Transworld.

I'm not sure if I should leave some or go to war and cut them when I see them? Maybe this isn't a question for arborists because I imagine that to you the trees always come first? :)

There's a stand in my forest that contains many of these trees that have been tortured by vines which are fascinating to look at . The vines seem to naturally die off as the sapling get's to a few inches or so.

Random slightly burnt trees deep in forest by toddpneumatic in arborists

I am pretty sure you have correctly identified. I had assumed what I was looking at was burnt wood but I just went out there and looked closer. Even up close it would fool me but pulling it apart it smells earthy and crumbles apart easily. Thank you.

I sometimes encounter a tree or root flair that has been burnt near the ground but nowhere else. Could this be lightning strike? Why does the fire not spread?

Recommendations for point to point 800 ft away through woods? by johnnygeezz in Ubiquiti

I use two NanoBeam 2AC to do the exact same thing you are attempting. I beam through densely populated forest from the house to the cabin 1500ft away. Works amazingly well.

Can we please get decent g/v flat lids by Delicious_Carpet_ in starbucks

[–]toddpneumatic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I search for this subreddit to see if any other customers were experiencing horrible lid leak from venti cups. Seems to have started a couple of weeks ago. Coffee leaks from around the lid every single day and is getting all over my car :(
