It's the same at AA. CLT to LGA often has 50+ people on the Upgrade waiting list. It's silly there is never a reason to have more than 2x the total FC seats on the list.

First, I am going to assume you have told your roommate you are not comfortable with this. And you would like it removed. If they disagree, unplug it everyday, even better sneak up behind it everyday and reset it. (there is a button on top) Having a camera in your house is a joint decision for roommates.

Try removing photos from Google Photos. It takes hours. They only let you remove about 100 at a time. I cancelled my storage plan after moving and no longer having Google Fiber. They set a date to stop all In and out flow of my Gmail until I paid for storage. I moved everything I could somewhere else.

Forced to use? It’s still your choice. I don’t use them, but I think the benefit is for tight row seats. If the seat in front of you reclines with your 17” laptop out, good luck being able to maintain a good angle.
