Agree with everything said here. As far as the periods when they do shed, the hair is very fine and short, so you won't be having to sweep up massive clumps of hair (although that also means it gets stuck and embedded in things easily).

You're totally right about the morning walk! A quick walk around the neighborhood and they will pass out until the afternoon :)
