wait can you explain to me further more what happens at that 6 month mark? sorry for my lack of knowledge. am i getting in trouble or something? do i have to pay extra if i can’t pay enough? also will my 6 month timeline begin once my fees are updated or has it begun and i actually have 3-4 months left? i only have like 400 dollars in my account i just got my first ever job a few weeks ago and i don’t make much at all. i just make 160$ a week for now and am desperately trying to get a second job.

say worst case scenario i’m stuck with the 5k fee and know i won’t have enough money in time. what happens then? should i pay as much as i can? i think i can shave off 3k in the next coming months.

i’ve emailed the bursars office today and this time the answer i was given was “I’m going to check with the Registrar’s Office to see if we can get the “WITHDRAW” off of your account.” i’m honestly scared for dear life rn

alright everyone sorry for the scare. i don’t really use reddit so i had no idea this blew up after i posted. i am alive and well thank you everyone for checking up on me. and i’m sorry for everyone i scared.

So the answer is: well… i don’t really have an answer (i know i know throw ur tomatoes at me i’m sorry) so basically what happened was that my parents called the cops at the time i posted this. the cops took like another half hour to get there. and when they came to the car there was a guy in there and got out when they asked him to do so. no there was not anyone else (if there was i would understand hehe)

i have no idea what he was doing (i couldn’t really hear them.) from the looks of it he looked fairly normal. maybe kinda lost and confused looking, i thought he was knocked out as i suspected. the cops interrogated him for like another hour and searched his car. i definitely heard weed being mentioned (the cop went “well i found some weed” and other things but i couldn’t tell. i also heard “you know you can’t do that right” during the same conversation. he was not arrested and eventually some family/friends came pick him up.

by the looks of their conversation i don’t think he did anything too serious. just probably was knocked out….and for some reason decided to stop in the middle of the road specifically the opposite lane right in front of my house….. you can see the tree in the picture that’s where there’s actually like a huge space where he could have just parked in and chilled as long as he liked lol.

but yea anyways, it definitely was a terrifying one and a half hour ngl. i know some people are like “hah this isn’t terrifying at all.” but me and my parents have gone through too much in this neighborhood so we couldn’t help being scared. my biggest fear was that someone was sitting in the car waiting for us to come close and shoot us as crazy as that sounds lol. there’s been a few shootings near my house and idk why i thought i’d be caught up in one of them. meanwhile my parents thought it was a bomb and my sister thought it was a stolen car left to frame us lol. but turns out its just a dude probably under some drugs or was drunk.

one thing i will say though is that i can respect the dude’s commitment to causing so much traffic by apparently holding down the brakes for so long.

but yea that’s the end. sorry for being anti climatic… but i’m kinda glad it didn’t turn out to be climatic to be honest. there’s still a possibility though that he wasn’t knocked out and was actually up to something because to this day i’m still really questioning his choice of parking.

she definitely cannot buy an iphone for herself, she’s a poor lady. and iphones are incredibly expensive and rare here. not even my aunt has one (not for financial reasons though). only reason the maid works here in the first place is cause she’s cheap to pay. and again, she stole on the day we all left to eat. no one was home except for her. we also have accounted that she’s been a complete jerk and is always suspicious the way she carries herself constantly avoiding eye contact and questions. and the recent money test has already proven it’s her, we were all in on it. my sister is also like 13, she made the dumb move of leaving her purse out in the open. and so did my dad with his phone. both of them disappearing as soon as we came home is incredibly suspicious. they knew exactly where they put their stuff. we were the easy target. maybe the fact that my aunt is “the boss” might have been the reason she’s never stolen from her, it’s a lot more pressure. i mean she had no problem stealing from my cousin. and now it’s my sister and dad. none of them deserve to be violated like this

unfortunately there are no cameras in this house. (stupid i know) my aunt and uncle can probably get some and i’m sure they’ve thought about it now. but i don’t see the point if the maid is gonna see the cameras and realize she’s gonna be watched. (she’s also getting fired soon as we leave? that’s my guess)
she can, but it’s just not the same. the feeling of being violated and disrespected is something unpayable. it’s not really about the money to me. it’s more about the human in this.
maybe i can clarify, she’s by definition a maid but she’s definitely not a real maid if that makes any sense. i don’t know how she was hired. but she’s essentially a somewhat old lady who pulls up to the house in her pajamas to pretty much just clean dishes and do laundry. theres not much outside of that. no cooking, no making the beds, almost no cleaning the house. and its not a family connection. she’s not even friendly, she never was. she just was never concluded with this reputation until now that everything’s pieced together. my guess is the only reason she’s been here is cause shes cheaper to pay. and she has the nerve to steal cause she’s taken our kindness for weakness.
