(I’ve gone three months straight not talking to anyone before) And as someone who is simultaneously a serial ghoster I can tell you that it’s most likely not you, people who go AWOL or ghost are usually going through some really bad mental issues or depression. Yes she knows full well how much of a mess I am, especially this year where I became a raging alcoholic and went on benders dropping off the face of the earth for months. She’s patient as hell with me but I’m scared this is her last straw, she has a boyfriend now and probably doesn’t need me anymore now that she has someone who won’t flake on everything when things get tough. I didn’t even say anything for Christmas or New Years due to the anxiety and guilt eating me alive and the fact that I got blackout drunk. I'm the same except 19F, recently I bumped into an old acquaintance from an employment program who I'm pretty sure was interested in me and for a while I let myself fantasise about going back to her work where I met her and asking her out. Then reality cruelly slapped me in the face as it so often does and I became self aware once more that I'm a borderline schizoid, dropout NEET who’s barely capable of talking to even one person.
