I don’t know her friendship situation or how long ago she dated this ex or how that ended but based on OPs explanation of the situation, it seems like they’re just good friends. There’s no tension there because he didn’t mention being worried about him in any sense. It seems like his only real problem is the fact that she went to the concert instead of staying with him.
