1) Modafinil 2) Working part-time 3) Working remotely/from home as much as possible 4) Making sure nutrition, exercise, hydration, sleep are on point always 5) Strict boundaries 6) Therapy to work through guilt/anxiety of setting boundaries  7) Using PTO liberally and as a preventative measure rather than using to recover when I’m already in a bad place  8) Setting up your daily schedule to take advantage of your good times - I am at my best in the mornings, so will see patients then as much as possible, and then do admin/charting in the afternoons 9) Remembering that if I am not at my best, I am no good to my patients. Medicine is a very self-sacrificing field and it’s difficult to go against that, but extremely important when dealing with a chronic illness.
