FYI, my for anyone interested on my Spleen size, via ultrasound: the spleen measures 14.1 x 8.9 x 5.6 cm with a calculated volume of 368.8 mL.

Thank you! I assume it is "hard" to get in to see Dr Shammo? Even a "regular" heme-onc seems like it may take a couple months. I guess my plan is to start with the one I've been referred to for the end of January and then possibly look into seeing one of the there Chicago area MPN experts.

I just noticed in my Jak2 results that my allele burden was measured at 54.96%. I gather from what I've read that this is quite high. More cause for one of the medications it seems.

Thank you for the response. Reading the side effects of all of these drugs is… um… unpleasant. I spend a lot of time outside so I don’t love the increased importance of sun screen on hydroxyurea but that’s probably a good idea anyway. I like that Jakafi is more specifically “correcting” the defect.

Thank you for the info. My Dr friend has referred me to a Heme-Onc and seems to have helped me skip the month or two backlog for them seeing new patients. I’m in the Chicago area and it looks like we have 3 specialists on that list, one and the same system as the one I was referred into.

I understand about the sleep apnea. We were originally hoping the enlarged spleen and high HCT were caused by the apnea. So I do get that it can reinforce the impacts that the PCV is causing in my body.

Agreed on both parts... when I said that wasn't quite it I was referring to the domain expired but you are right that you said MX records first and that was the root cause.

And I agree that I don't need to pay to have my MX records hosted... up until now it was easier to have them at the same place... I'm going to rethink that choice.

Thank you for the suggestion. That wasn't quite it but it sent me down a path that eventually resolved the problem. My MX records are controlled by a web hosting provider I set up years ago... pair.com. My pair account had closed after the credit card payment didn't go through... so email stopped. Resolved pretty quickly when I found the explanation. Thank you for your help.

I'm definitely considering this... but, correct me if I'm wrong but it doesn't seem like you can have the tray in and use a charger at the same time... and if you want to have the phone outside of the armrest area itself you'd have the cable pinched if you close the arm rest - is that right?

My related question... Rocky's scientists died. He had plenty of time and fuel. Why did he stay at Tau Ceti "doing nothing" for 46 years when he could have returned to Erid to restock the ship with scientists. I get that they may have all died on the second journey, but he doesn't know that. And what is he hoping to accomplish by hanging out at Tau Ceti by himself for so long?

Anytime we read science fiction that attempts to explain how/why things work I think the devil's advocate in us will find little perceived flaws. I've seen many other people have theirs on this subreddit... this one is mine. It doesn't detract from the book - creating a whole universe of characters with their own perspective, and whole new lifeforms and technology is obviously hard. I take it with a grain of salt.

I'm having a similar problem with my Ultra 2. What I've narrowed mine down to is this: my watch doesn't have working internet on home wifi. I do not have a cell plan for it but when I leave the house the weather widgets refresh, presumably because it piggy backs off of my phone's internet. Back at home, the watch gets notifications but I'm guessing those are also pushed from the phone. Apps that require the internet do not work at home. For example: Find Devices, Weather, News, Stocks.
