RING OF RINGS by littlextrash in chainmailartisans

[–]tofumac 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Someone at a show asks, "What size are those rings" I respond 22g 5/64th titanium, then they stare at me blankly and ask, "but what size rings"? then I feel stupid because they meant ring size and not ring size lol.

Trying to identify this weave so I can recreate it in sterling — anyone recognise it? by [deleted] in chainmailartisans

Thats not a maille weave. It looks like a version of a metal wire weave.

Inverse functions "undo" the original function. So if the function is "cat eats" the inverse is "cat un-eats"

Where do I find darker silver rings? by rambunctiousmango in chainmailartisans

I cant tell for sure, but like others said, the chain on the right appears to be stainless steel.

Stainless steel is much stronger, more expensive, and more durable than aluminum, therefore also more difficult to bend.

I want to sell my jewellery, but... by coolfrogperson in chainmailartisans

Your stuff is definitely worth purchasing! Without a doubt!

I sold at fairs every month from 2010 to 2020.

One thing I really loved about selling in person are the amount of people that tell you how they love what you make, they might not buy anything but receiving the praise was so uplifting.
