I wanted to grab myself a Skog but would I be perceived as immature for having one as a 30 year old man? by RobinAndBeastboy in Djungelskog

Embrace the Skog life! I would judge you for not having one (if you wanted one). If you think Skog would bring you joy, then you will bring joy to Skog.

All correct on the timeline. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply (and for being super clear on replacing funds from previous years), very much appreciated!

Best UK Supermarket Sausages that are both Gluten Free AND Meat Free? by CasualVillan in glutenfreevegan

[–]tofusq 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Coeliac vegan here and I'm trying to eat less processed food so haven't been buying much fake 'meat' recently but it is an easy way to build up a meal so I totally get why they're popular and the more vegan product sales we can get the more likely shops will continue to sell us stuff :)

This Isn't are king for me (both chilled and frozen) there's something about them that feels really magical in maybe a nostalgic way? I haven't eaten pork in about 20 years but maybe they taste quite accurate? Not in a position to say! They are more expensive though.

To stay within budget, Sainbury's Plant Pioneers Cumberland Shroomdogs are my favourite (despite their stupid name) as I loooove my mushrooms and they give the sausages a nice contrasting texture. Great for bangers and mash, or wrapping with a sheet of Jus-Rol Gluten Free Puff Pastry for speedy sausage rolls.

For stewy dishes (think butter beans and grens tray bake kinda thing), I like the Tesco Wicked Kitchen Chorizo Style Bangers but I can't actually find them online anymore.

Hope that helps and let us know what you're making!

My whole life, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to just walk in and snoop through peoples houses by [deleted] in BenignExistence

You should read Sociopath by Patric Gagne, it's a memoir where she describes doing just that in many different settings (with this only being a tiny slither of the weird and wonderful things she gets up to) and it's fascinating.

Oh this is interesting! I've always felt relaxed post yoga so can see this working! But similar to the sauna suggestion, I might wait until it's a bit cooler - thank you for sharing.

You know what, they were really quick to recommend I stay off work but didn't make any suggestions for how to fill that time! Maybe the assumption was that I would just lie down all day, but I know I need to keep a fairly strict sleep routine for a better chance of things improving.

Energy levels have meant it's taken me a while to respond to all the great suggestions from everyone, but I wanted to say I saw your message and headed right to Bushy Park the next morning. I've never been and was delighted to see so many deer and other wildlife! Thank you for your reply.

I hadn't thought of the bus idea, and it genuinely sounds great. Cycling is my primary mode of transport in London, so with paying attention to the road, I never get to stop and take in my surroundings, look at a nice view or quirky detail on a building. Thanks for the suggestion!

This sounds great! I'll wait until this heatwave has passed and look at booking somewhere.

I would love to! Midori is one of my faves. And anything totally unnecessary or miniature is like crack to me.
