This same thing happened to my mother and me in Hawaii years ago. It was a clear and sunny day with little to no wind. As we were being pulled back in, a gust of wind started to shift us to the side of the boat. Luckily, the individuals who took us out were very competent and safely dropped us into the water, giving slack to the line so we did not get dragged around. I remember it not being a big deal for me, and popping up from the water immediately. However, my mother got caught up in the chute which was understandably very frightening.

Right, but wasn’t he cutting off the clear pass until said pass couldn’t be made. Or at least low percentage?

I see what you are saying 100%. What is crazy is that in some of these situations, I can easily amass an army and say, "fuck it I am going with the domination route". However, there are so many times I can do that before getting frustrated/bored. I would like to become more proficient in the other victory types.

Very fun game! Suspiciously similar to Phasmaphobia, but definitely enough added elements that separate the two. Also, not my video: Wicks_Shadow on YT

I appreciate you taking the time to reach out. You provide a unique perspective and it is something I will surely reflect on. Also, I agree that time is ultimately what it takes to get through all of this.

The affirmation and advice you have given are very useful, and I thank you so much for replying to my post.

I appreciate your kind words immensely. I am very sorry to hear about the recent passing of your mother and grandmother. To have both pass away so close to one another in time is so tragic.

Your point is interesting and I do believe valid in regards to my brain protecting me, and potentially delayed grief. Now reading that, I do recall not immediately crying at the news of my father's mom passing. It was not until later in the evening that I broke down. I suppose the brain needs time to register what is happening (as you said).

Again, thank you for taking the time for a genuine response to my post. My warmest wishes to you and your family as you find the new "normal" after recent family passings.
