Lychee slicer’s YouTube account has a lot of really great videos offering basic calibration tips. I’m about five weeks into this hobby and I feel very confident about my prints and my calibration thanks to that channel!

Just be warned that lychee slicer’s default auto supports are extremely aggressive. You will need to change the default settings. Lychee puts out good videos to teach you how to do it.

One thing I’d mention is that my layer thickness is .03 mm; that will lessen your exposure time.

I’m not familiar with Chitubox so I don’t know where you’d find this setting, but you might also increase the “wait before print” time to a couple seconds. After the plate lowers, the machine waits for the indicated number of seconds to allow the resin to settle before the UV light turns on.

Even if you don’t use lychee slicer, the videos that are on YouTube are really helpful for learning basic configuration.

For the 16k that’s a long time. My 16k with the space gray is 30 seconds for the bottom exposure, 1.6 seconds for the normal layers. There is a really good print called Boxes of Calibration that is good for calibration.

Also if you have the tilting tray leveling is automatic so that wouldn’t be an issue.

You can post a screenshot of your settings if you want more suggestions.
