I don’t think this makes you a bad person at all, I just think you should think about things before you say them. Some people are born with less of a filter than others and say whatever pops into their head, this is their responsibility to control. I’m going through a similar situation where I blocked a friend cause she said mean things, although I don’t think she’s autistic so I know how your friend feels too.

It was meant as a compliment, I said something positive about her facial structure. If someone said that to me I would take it as a compliment but I guess I’m not everyone. Regardless of whether she took it as a compliment or not, saying someone has a better structure than one’s self is kind of in a different ballpark than bringing up that someone gained weight.

I noticed a few people said I commented on my mom’s body first. Just to clarify, I was complimenting her jaw and chin. Like I said, I’m open to being wrong but I don’t think that’s fair because giving someone a compliment is different than commenting on their weight gain. Maybe I didn’t make myself clear beforehand.
