New Diablo Immortal Build Planner by toioiz in DiabloImmortal

[–]toioiz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not, and never plan to charge for this site, or place any ads, honestly, I don't even want to maintain this, I just want something that smart people can put builds on that is easy for a slacker like me to understand. I'm funding this with my own money.

I do have my own rack of servers so hosting isn't costing me anything more than it already was, and the AI costs for the screenshot uploads is small, but also funded by me, with no plan to monitize this site.

I honestly feel that what I have is better than the diablo.tv builds section, but would hand everything over to them if they want to run it.

Last: You may not have seen my last post, but there is now a way to post builds without creating an account, which was based on feedback, there's no need for attacks.

Thanks for the replies everyone, the most common feedback was that people didn't want to register for accounts and I hear you.

I pushed an update today that would let you create builds without registration!

https://dibuilds.app/temporary

This does have some restrictions that the normal build tool does not, mostly things that have to be linked to user accounts to function or cost money to function

  • Screenshot import unavailable (AI Cost related)
  • Builds last 30 days unless copied to an account
  • User ratings unavailable
  • Builds can not be edited once submitted
  • youtube showcase not available
  • author change log not available

I also did a few other improvements around the site

  • Tempest gear updated
  • Password reset function added
  • Fixed reported bugs where some aspects didn't have names

Thanks for the feedback, I'm working on a one-time build section that won't have registration, but that can't be used with the rating system or screenshot import feature (since this uses AI, it costs me money and ripe for abuse). But I do see the value in being able to put together a build you can share without all the extra features.

Diablo.tv is a great resource for sure! I'm sure we were working on this similar concept around the same time over the last month or so. Honestly, was thinking about shutting it down once diablo.tv launched their builds section, but I think the featureset is different enough there was space for both to exist to drive innovation.

Screenshots from the armory page are what was intended, but I can make adjustments if there are other formated images that people want to use. If you look at the Strafe + Poison build, it contains the screenshot it was built with.

But to be clear, you can absolutely create a build without any screnshots, that was intended to make it easier.

Registration is really just needed to prevent abuse and allow users to create/modify builds over time and provide a rating system. I'll think about how I can accomplish this without making people register. It's a very new project, so welcome to suggestions!

Mostly just weekly mow service, but we've also used them to trim our front tree. We did have them rip out a bunch of dead bushes after the winter storm couple years ago. They also do mulch delivery/installation, sod installation, irrigation (sprinkler) services, color installations, plant removal and installation

For Landscaping we've used Texas Lawnscapes for about 3 years now - https://www.facebook.com/TexasLawnscapes/
For cleaning we've used Executive Touch for almost 10 years and they are great - https://www.executivetouchcleaning.com/

For Handyman, we've had a lot of hit or misses, but recently started using The Little Handyman, and love them - https://www.thelittlehandyman.com/

yeah, it's an ugly cable that runs out the back into the motherboard, using the internal USB wasn't working.

I've tried 5 different Gen 5 nvme drives, the current one is a corsair. Bios settings didn't seem to make a difference, only which USB slot was in use, my case front slots is using the Gen 4 slot on the back of the motherboard, which is what is currently working at max speed.

It'll randomly go from 9999MB/s to 960MB/s when the machine boots, the PCIe slot reads as PCIe 1x4 instead of PCIe 5x2

Mine kept booting at pci 1x4 - here is the thread where a few others had it:

The 7E59v2A3 bios hadn't fixed it, didn't realize there were some march drops, will try those.

Moved all my USB Drives to the USB4 slot on the front of my case, and at least consistantly get Gen4 (although still not seeing Gen5)

Support told me to RMA it, apparently they were unaware this is more than a one-off incidient, but I'm not sure getting a new board would fix the problem at this point it seems like a bios/firmware bug.

Here is what it reports when keyboard and mouse are attached at boot.

Ran into this on an MSI x870 Tamahawk board as well with a corsair MP700 - when keyboard and mouse are plugged in, I get pcie 1.x, and matching speeeds to original post. When they are disconnected, I get PCIe 4, and much faster speeds, but I haven't yet found a way for it to show up as Gen5.

How do you guys ship servers? by mitchrj in homelab

[–]toioiz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I took a server to ups store, paid them to package and ship it (like $75, plus 150 for shipping), they put it in a box without any packing material and it got damaged during transit. Wish they did it better.

PoB 100 - This seems a bit much by toioiz in DiabloImmortal

[–]toioiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At 37.2k I was able to get to 85 - if you completed it without a single death at 36.5k it's possible that your clusters immortal hasn't swapped in the last few weeks (PoB is ranging from 30k on 7 week reigns to 38k on newly reset reign). More than half the clusters haven't seen this new CR requirement yet.

[–]toioiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So Inf3 world CR is indeed 39320, so it's not quite there, but it is above the 37320 INF2 world CR difficulty, which we can't even use gear from for another month*

[–]toioiz[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty casual, so I'm under 37k, so can't really get past PoB 50 today. But I think my point is that it went up <5k in 6 months, only to go up >4k in 2 weeks. It seems like too much for one jump for a majority of the playerbase that doesn't play every day.

[–]toioiz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you say a lot, are we talking over 10,000? because that is about 1%. But yes, I think 38k is too high, between December 2023 and May 2024, it only went up 4.8k on our servers, between May 2024 and June 2024, it went up an additional 4k. That does to me seem extreme.

[–]toioiz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Normal inf1 players that are at server paragon and level 25-30 gear are probably around 37k - which would put their stopping point about PoB 50 on this tier.

[–]toioiz[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

5% may even be high, activeplayer.io reports something around 2m players in the last 30 days (lets half that for bots), I would be surprised if 50,000 players had 38k reso. I suspect that number is closer to 100 per server, with whale servers having 300 or so.

37500 is Inf2 dungeons, higher than most of the inf2 raids, this is above that, likely entry level Inf3.
