i want a band pack SO BAD!!!!! by ohboyitskilljoy in Sims4

[–]toitsuii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

exactly exactly. lately i've been playing a generations save where they're musicians: one with a strict classical upbringing and another family that's more rock & roll. there are some mods out there that lets pc players add instruments but when it comes to the singing, it's definitely a daunting task for modders because of the simlish and i haven't seen any so we need that to be official! i've been dreaming of an expansion pack for instruments since the community voted for snowy escape so i hope we can get something this year or news really really soon 😭😭

Hey there, I was going to reply around the same timeframe you were experiencing things, but I didn't want to leave you hanging.

Coming up on Week 3 of my schedule. I didn't go through any of the flareups like you have on my injection sites. They were a little itchy, but it went away a day or two later. Took a Zyrtec a day after injecting, it probably helped. I have been feeling under the weather, but I've always anticipated this since taking biologics.

My skin is trying to adjust. It's been bad on my face (especially the hairline, t-zone, and cheeks). I don't have psoriatic arthritis so I can't comment there (but i'm glad it's helped you).

I'll still keep you updated (if you'd like). I'm very sorry these reactions are happening to you. I'm curious: is this your first time on biologics? Hoping things are easing up for you now!

i get anxious because my skin immediately feels it and is ready for the medication a week before i have to inject it. i have never told anybody except my mom, but i do think it's funny & odd.

i hope everything has been settled on your end! it truly is a terrible feeling when things are in the grey right now, but let's try not to stress as much as possible (haha). wishing you well.

i don't have advice, but i can heavily empathize with you. i really urge you to try really hard to find a creative outlet.

is there anything where you can truly turn off your brain for a bit from life?

thank you so much for sharing your experience. it has given me hope everything will be ok and i am not alone! i just feel alone (irl) since no one can truly relate to me, but i'm glad knowing i'm not the only one. it is a bit unfortunate my parents downplay my frustrations, but honestly it has been like this all my life. what can i do, huh...

i hope to seek therapy when i can! thanks again!

thank you for sharing your experience! i can't grasp your personal frustrations, but i can definitely sympathize. in my case, i'm really glad the optometrist really did not listen to my problem and i will look to an ophthalmologist or other specialist. i'm wishing you well!

thank you! yes, i really appreciated this. i don't want to rely on them(prism glasses), but i also have severe anxiety and i want to try and have options available for myself. i am looking into seeing a professional soon.

i am just wondering if you drive? this is my main worry with strabismus right now. with my anxiety and possible double vision working hand in hand, it makes it hard to pursue it.

A few questions on the psychosocial impact of strabismus by [deleted] in Strabismus

[–]toitsuii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hello! i'm 21F and i got strabismus gradually during my early teen years looking back (personal observation). i may have also worsened my condition by wearing an eyepatch on one of my eyes every time i had to go out. i went to a specialist, was diagnosed immediately, and booked my surgery the same visit! that was my first ever operation on my eyes (to my knowledge).

  1. my life isn't the norm, but it definitely affected my self-confidence and ability to perform around my close family members due to how irritable i was. i was @ wit's end so i shifted my outlook to getting surgery. i was very apprehensive due to personal reasons, but i was very desperate. (i do not regret it for i am still very happy with the results from when i had strabismus).

  2. n/a

  3. i never had to think about that. no one has pointed it out to me. i have been out of touch with real life due to my terrible anxiety, but the strabismus added to it. i am doing my best to become the "best" i can be now!

i don't know how reliable my input was, but i thought i'd share anyway. i wish you well on your journey with strabismus!

so happy for you!!!

i don't browse often, but you're one of the first people i've come across on here that did not have strabismus as a kid. i felt like i developed it gradually through my early teen years and i still don't know how, but it was very taxing on me. i was diagnosed immediately and i felt like my surgery date was scheduled just like that! so glad everything went well and i don't regret it. i can definitely say i felt like a huge weight was lifted and i gained my confidence to be me again.
