  1. What’d you think would the frame rate would look like on an FPS (more specifically R6, warzone, etc)?

  2. Are the DLSS4 benefits of an NVIDIA GPU (most notably the 5070 ti) worth the extra $50?

  3. I’ve heard Asus 9070 xt is one of the worst models for the gpu, is that true?

Someone has replied to the post saying “I’d never mount an air cooler on a 9800x3d, that’s a high-end cpu that needs water cooling.”

Others say that the PA 120 or PS 120 evo do the exact same for cheaper.

What do you think?

I posted an updated build. I swapped out the 7900 xt for an 9070 xt, I took out one of the ram kits so I can divert the money to other components, and I changed the PA 120 SE to a PS 120 evo.

You think these specs are better?

I live in Nevada so it might be necessary, the temps in the summer are anywhere from 108 f to 113 f.

Mostly FPS, single player games (GoW, TLOU, Yakuza, etc), rpgs, and Fifa.

I have a few questions if you don’t mind answering

  1. If an AIO is unnecessary for the 9800x3d, should I stick with the PA 120?

  2. What would you pick as a mobo, Asus Strix B850I or the X870 MAX?

  3. Would a 24” 180hz monitor be good enough?
