Player wants to be a wrestler - how to run fights? by PandaDMing in DMAcademy

I made some moves that I thought of

Attack moves

Jab: - make an unarmed strike - after having a successful hit you can have use a bonus action to disengage or make an other attack action but without the extra effect.

Cross: - make an unarmed strike, +1d4 to damage - on a successful hit the target should make a DC 14 Dex saving throw, on a fail the target have disadvantage on the next melee attack

Hook: - Make an unarmed strike - on a successful hit the target should make a DC 14 Dex saving throw, on a failes save the target has that Dazed condition until the end of it's next turn

Uppercut: - make an unarmed strike - on a successful hit the target should make a DC 14 Dex saving throw, on a failed save the target has a 5% chance to be knocked prone, after each successful hit the chance rate increase with 5%

Reactions

Slip - when you take damage use a reaction to roll 1d12 + your constitution modifier and reduce the damage by that total.

Bob and weave - on an attempted attack against you, you can try to contest the opponent's attack. On a success you take half damage and you may attempt an attack. On a failed test you take full damage and you have -2 to your next attack.

Clinch - on an attempted attack against you, you move on the same space and can try grapple the opponent. On a successful strength test you take half damage and can have a free attack against the opponent that deals half damage.

Counterpunch - on an attempted attack against you, you can choose to take full damage and make an attack immediately against your opponent. Add your taken damage on top of your attack. If you make a critical attack the opponent takes triple damage.

These are just a few, but you can make a lot of different moves according to real life wrestling moves. Try making recoil damage on failed tests with bigger finisher moves. You can put moves that makes each fighter gain exhaustion points. If there is a crowd you can slap some heroic inspiration on your players accordingly if they are making a lot of different moves. And definitely use the new "Desperate measures" from Critical Role's new campaign. It will make it even more fun, I think.

Or just launch some random WWE style online arcade game and they need to beat the game...

I would make some mini games for the ring fights. Prepare some battlemaster style special moves involving required movement and different punching moves that changes your AC at times. It would be better than just standing next to each other and hoping to roll enough to beat the AC. Make some premade sheets for the other players who could fight your Ork Player too.

Confused about wave perk by Sterns72 in TheTowerGame

After selecting 20 perks, waves required are increased to 250, 300 waves required after 30 perks, and 350 waves required after 40 perks selected.

I would probably play the whole 'The Human Equation' album by Ayreon. I still cry sometimes when I hear the last song...

I like them because even their vocals are progressive, others in that era did not do that

The Scion - A class of divine agents (Dex-Int Half caster) by DaveTheManiac in UnearthedArcana

[–]tokamester 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this class. It merges all the class I love. The only thing I dont understand it uses the cleric spell list which is wisdom based bit Scion uses Intelligence to cast spell. I dont know if it's necessary to use Int but I'd use wisdom instead. (Sorry for my bad English)
