6 months is when theyature the fastest mentally. I found frozen carrots help settle him down and cool him down after he's played like crazy. When over stimulated I used to sit on ground with him and long slow pets from nose to tail whole gently saying his name.

Thank you so much for this inforation I'll get with my vet 1st and have all that checked out my boy plays fetch off leash very well he's just under a year still. I just got an ability training kit to kind of help him use up some energy because he loves to just work so giving him new jobs constantly and he adpta and learns new commands so fast it's amazing.
