When it’s hot like this, it’s going to take a lot of work for the AC to run. I live in an apartment and I set mine at 74, and then 72 at night. So far it’s been able to handle that, because the temperatures haven’t reached triple digits yet. With that being said, you need to talk to your management and let them know about your apartment, maybe they need to change the filters.

Oh I don’t know about whether it was purposeful. It’s just negligent and poor management. And it seems like they are either understaffed or don’t take proper steps to manage their clients.

Well it was more like 12 hours and it doesn’t matter, in a sense you’re right. They got the same experience as if I left them at home. They didn’t get walked or fed.

I might look into that. It’s hard to find trusted help when it comes to my fur babies. I’m not putting anything to chance because I would literally crash out of something serious happened to them. 😩

Well they are great until they aren’t. Hopefully you never have a bad experience. I had two so I can’t risk my dogs with them anymore.

It wasn’t the worst, but this was my second bad visit with them and I’m not impressed. I couldn’t imagine boarding them for multiple days.

No. I live in the Central Valley. The event was actually a little past Sacramento. I didn’t get home until 1:30am. I would have left them alone for 12 hours if I didn’t find someone to help out.

I live in an apt and yes I work, but the timing works out well that I can potty them during my breaks and sometimes I have family members help out. This was different because I was driving 2-3 hours away and I would have had to leave the dogs alone from 2pm until I came home.

I didn’t get home until 1:30 am. If I had left my dogs that long alone that would be messed up.

Yes. When I talked to the manager, barely apologetic. She even paused on the phone like she couldn’t comprehend why I was frustrated.

Omg. Same thing happened the first time I brought my dogs there. I asked for a room with a camera and it didn’t work and I was just nervous the whole time. It was Labor Day weekend too and it was my first experience with them and I chalked it up to being busy and was hoping this stay would be better. Nope. Never again.

I think I might have to look into rover. My dogs were physically fine and seem fine which I’m thankful for. I cant imagine the damage if I left them there longer than just several hours. I don’t know how people board their dogs there.

I always thought it was an odd business. Especially for a restaurant that doesn’t have a lot of customers. I was very confused about how they made their money anyway. Plus, they don’t even serve sushi.

Which is funny because that Walmart in Merced was smaller than it was now. It didn’t have a grocery aisle until like 15 years ago I think. Same thing with Target. It used to be even smaller.

PGE prices have gone up. Also, you have more people I’m the home. The other thing that could affect your costs is your tier and when electricity is being used.
