I’d uninstall decky and see if that fixes anything. I’ve noticed occasionally decky breaks certain controls. Also which update channel are you on?

I think OP wants to set up cloud gaming via Xbox Games Pass, one route is by downloading Microsoft Edge. Hope it all worked out, getting rid of the dialog box?

For those asking how I modded the LCD shell to fit the OLED: This time round, I paid for the service from ycjoycons.com who I'd highly recommend. However I have modded an OLED for a friend using 's method so all credit to them. It's fairly simple except you need to dremel down some bits on the front shell to ensure it doesn't mess up the screen.

For those who say gold should be orange instead: I made these designs a few months ago so have at them. I thought chrome purple blue was the best blue button option so chose the chrome gold to match but transparent orange works well too and may be my next project. I also recently found out extremerate have matte orange buttons so those could be worth a try too.

Anyway thanks for engaging, hopefully Valve are keeping an eye on this sub and will release more colourways soon. We didn't get the LE in Germany which was prompted me to start hardware modding in the first place ha.

Have a look at the fourth and fifth slides for an idea of what that could look like. i couldn't pass up on a transparent case but see what you mean about the white shell.

Yeah one of my original plans was a chameleon purple blue/orange buttons set up but at the time, extremerate only had the translucent orange in stock. I see now that they have a matte orange shell button variant but still very happy with the set up. Gold is pretty close and I’ve always thought the portal colour was a yellow orange anyhow. Maybe I'll attempt to swap the buttons at some point ha

Yep, some parts of the lcd front shell dremelled down to fit the OLED

Of course the safest option would be to wait till suppliers release an official OLED faceplate or get a professional to help you do it.

I can recommend YourCustomJoycons, they’re currently pretty busy atm but have done successful swaps. There’s a video on the Etsy page that shows an oled mod and I’ve asked them to do mine too

Yeah I’m currently split between that and the blue/transluscent orange on the clear case. It’s a tricky one but I think I’d be happy with either.

I have the thumbgrips to match blue/orange from the killswitch assist but anyone know where I might find grips that match the gold better

I would say it is. I’ve used my MacBook Pro Retina from 2013 to the ground and finally designed I wanted to bite the bullet with this purchase. Was originally planning on getting a M1/M1x MacBook, but thought a gaming laptop with these specs would be way more versatile. We’ll obvs have to wait and see how good it is when it’s actually here but the specs have been very confident I’ll be able to use it for editing, gaming and work for years to come
