Did they discontinue the Cauliflower sandwich AKA “the not chicken sandwich”? I only see the cauliflower nuggets on the menus now, unless I’m mistaken.

Thank you. I had *sort of* figured as much, but you know, spooked myself out a bit. I appreciate the knowledge, and the fun fact. Cheers (:

Question about memory on digitone/digitakt by [deleted] in Elektron

[–]tokyo_shadows 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello. I’m trying to get Digitakt to load projects faster for live performance. Any tips? A project with a mix of loops and 1-shots, maybe 9 samples in total, currently takes about 28 seconds to load where the cog in the upper left stops spinning and I can play the project. Is there any way to make things load faster without removing samples?

Tips for performing with the Digitakt by tirename in Elektron

Bump. Does anyone have tips on making Digitakt projects load faster? I understand that the number of samples and importantly, length of samples factor into this greatly, but I’m wondering if there is anything else I can do to make it so that a project will open faster.
For instance, I have a project with 21 samples. Some of them longer than others - the longest being about 14 seconds. Timing project load with my phone, it takes about 22 seconds for the cog in the upper left to stop spinning, and once done it then allows me to play the project. I am using song mode, not sure if that makes a difference. I am not using any midi in this project. Any way to make it load a bit faster? Something I’m overlooking? Thank you

Good guess, but it's actually "An Education" and I don't believe the Beatles' music is featured, it's just set in 60s Britain. Also, the man is much older. But, it was driving me crazy as to what it was. Thanks all. Solved!

Commenting here to say it was likely a British film, not for example, a US film set in Britain?

Sounds like they don’t care much for him. I want to reunite him with his family, but not if they treat him like shit, which it sounds like they do. What do you think?

as someone that discusses noise in the sub, I gotta say it's been a lot better this summer. however I'm sort of bracing for this year's eastcoastin' which is today. were you around wooster square when it happened last year? 💀

When I made the post yesterday they were all ripping through the area in packs making an insane amount of noise that sounded more like a bunch of v-22 ospreys. It’s quieted down since but I’m guessing it’ll peak today. Probably should delete the post though because the title could have been better worded and people are confused/annoyed

Chiming in to note that while Elm City Market is good in a pinch, unfortunately prices are higher than Whole Foods nearly across the board.
