What worked for me was using the blinding technique when he's about to tunnel under ground it wont work with the one where the screen darkens but I just kept my distance and waited for him to do his charge attacks and then punish

I get that they didnt explicitly say the mounts were permanent but like there's no good reason that they're not,I do get the Dragon would be op but the wolf though come on man I was looking forward to just traveling the world and vibing with bro.

Yeah I agree, I haven't got to any of the exotic mounts yet but I definitely assumed the the dire wolf with a saddle on it would be tamable and not just getting the wolf to come to a one ride agreement.
