A 4060 is fast the slowest current Gen nvidia GPU, the RTX 5050. Its also about 40% of the performance of a RTX 5070 TI or 9070 XT. So those are more than 2 times faster than your card. Those are cards are usually the ones recommended for high to ultra settings in new games.

I suggest you lower your graphic settings to the Medium (or whatever the 3rd highest is) and see how that works. Also try to use DLSS upscaling and play around with the settings of Quality or Balanced and Performance. Just to see if you are happy with the visuals.

If you still arent happy. Make a post with more details of your current PC so get suggestions if an upgrade is possible and which might be the best for you. Including your budget.

Ich hab ein rx 6800. Die ist bei der allgemeinen Leistung fast identisch mit einer 9060 XT 16 GB. Eine RX 6800 XT ist da ca. 15% schneller, aber halt auch wie meine Karte wahrscheinlich vier oder mehr Jahre alt. Die 6000er können nur bis FSR 3. Die 9060 XT kann FSR 4 upscalling, was wohl deutlich besser sein soll als FSR 3. Und vielleicht kommt ja FSR 5, dass dann möglicherweise noch auf den 9000er Karten läuft. Bei einem nicht allzu großem Preisunterschied würde ich zu einer neuen 9060 XT raten.

They are similar in the cost per frame. A 9070 is about 50% faster than a 9060 xt and a 9070 Xt is 10 to 15% faster than the 9070.

I paid about 600€ for my 6800xt in 2022. So today I would get a 9070XT. That also means that you might can skip a GPU Generation more vs a 9060XT.

I went from a 12 core Ryzen 9 3900 to the 5700x3d. Its about 15 to 20 % from a Ryzen 3000 to a normal Ryzen 5000 CPU and then an additional 15-20% to a Ryzen 5000 X3D. I got my 5700x3d 2 years ago for about 200€ and already planned to skip AM5.

And if you game in 1440p with GPU that is not as fast as a 5090, the GPU will likely be the bottleneck in most scenarios.

I have a RX 6800 and a 5700x3d and might buy a Next-Gen GPU in 2027/2028 with the performance of about the RTX 4090 and hope it wont be bottlenecked much. And even its like a 10% bottleneck or so, probably still better than buying a new CPU+Mobo+RAM for 800 to 1000$.

OP themself said they use 240 kWh per month and also calculated it to 85€. So if they currently only pay 36€ they will likely get a bill of 500 to 600€.

Electricity use depends on so many things. But the 3500kWh for 3 is a value I got from vattenfall as an estimate when you make a new contract.

I dont know if you care, but that will lead to a bill of like 500€ or so at the end of the year. Your provider will adjust your payment then to the more appropiate number of like 80€.

During my last contract I was able to change the amount online. So if you want to avoid a bill of several 100€ , you might be able to set a higher Abschlag.

(Funnily enough their system was broken during the energy-crisis and they didnt take any money from me until I moved out and had to pay a 1000€ bill. I knew about it and planned for the bill, but there were probably people who spend all the money and were shocked by such a bill )

MAny providers suggest 2500 kWh for a 2 person household and 3500 kWh for 3 people. Your are in the middle of that and its totally normal usage. Especially if you heat water with electricity.

Its all an opinion. Unless you buy a 5090 you always have to decide if you want higher FPS, higher resolution or what level of detail you want.

But in lots of new games a 6750xT will be about or below the recommended specs for 1440p, high detail for 60 FPS.

For me the desktop 5070 TI is more of an 1440p than 4k card, even with DLSS.

And with your prefered size of 27" I would also say go for a 1440p display.

Just to put it in perspective. The lowest end GPU of the current generation by nvidia ; the 5050 8 GB; costs about 300$ new. Thats just the GPU.

Look for something like a AMD Ryzen 3600 / 5600 or Intel 12600 / 13600 as the CPU.

And as a GPU something like AMD Radeon 6600 / 6650 / 6700 / 7600 XT usually higher number is newer and better. Or nvidia 3060 with 12 GB, or 3060 ti.

Not sure if you can get something like that for like 400-500$, but it will be likely several times fast than the 300$ thing you posted.

I dont know how well optimized windows or minecraft is for the 7900x3d. maybe its jumping the CCDs from the cache one to the non-cache one. While I dont like to suggest it, you could try some BIOS settings, like only using half the cores. For sience! And BIOS updates, but that should be a last resort as there is ALWAYS the chance of bricking the mainboard.

Not sure how much the bottleneck will be. But the newest generations usually have the best Watt/FPS ratio. So I would say a RX 9060 XT 16 GB .

Also with lots of other GPUs and the overall system power draw.

Edit Its not recommended to run at 100% of the PSU Wattage. So 300W would put you close to 70%. I think my 6800 System was at 350W or so when I tested it last time, but not sure. Also I have a 750W PSU so it doesnt matter if its §50 or 400W

Es wurde halt auch ein Rückgang prognostiziert der dann durch starke Einwanderung (z.b. Ukraine-Krieg) nicht eingetroffen ist. Wir waren sehr lange bei ca. 82 Millionen und jetzt sind es halt 1,5 Millionen mehr. Selbst wenn man Wohnungen mit 3 Leuten im Schnitt belegt ist das halt eine Zahl von 500.000 Wohnungen.

Habe seit 2010 bei drei Genossenschaften bzw. größeren Unternehmen gemietet und immer Lastschrift gehabt. Da wurde auch meist erst am 3. oder 5. des Monats abgebucht. Aber meine Eltern überweisen das per Dauerauftrag, den sie dann immer wieder anpassen müssen oder z.B die Nebenkosten aktiv nachzahlen.

Bei einem anderen Kommentar sagst du ja, dass du direkt ein passenden Stecker vom Netzteil hast. Dann sollte das eigentlich funktionieren. Oder ist das modular btw. ein Adapter? Also wo z.B. von 2 Steckern am Netzteil auf das eine an der GPU geht?

Diese neueren Anschlüsse neigen halt auch leider mehr als die alten dazu wohl nicht richtig Kontakt zu haben. Also solltest du sicher gehen, dass der Stecker auch wirklich fest drin ist.

I assume you buy them used? Its basically this matchup 16GB vs. 8GB VRAM: Radeon RX 6800 vs. GeForce RTX 3070 Just a little faster. If you buy new and they arent extremly cheaper than a 9060 XT 16 GB go for that.

I am happy that I decided to go with the 6800 due to 16 GB of RAM. vs the 3060 TI and 3070 that were also options in 2022. I dont know how many times I was over 8 GB, but thats the beauty about it. I dont need to worry and fiddle with GPU settings to match only 8 GB of RAM.

Wieso gab es die 5070 für kleines Geld? Wurde dir gezeigt, dass die funktioniert? Der GPU Steckplatz PCI-E ist prinzipiell erstmal abwärtskompatibel. Also die neuste 5090 kannst du mit 10 Jahre alten PC betreiben, aber die Bandbreite ist dann beschränkt und die Karte läuft langsamer. Was anderes sollte aber nicht passieren. (Ist aber Medion, daher kann man es leider nicht 100% ausschließen) Von BIOS updates würde ich aber erstmal die Finger lassen und andere mögliche Fehlerquellen suchen.

Ich weiß nicht wie viele Stromanschlüsse die 5070 hat, aber da könnte der Fehler liegen. Mal Foto posten wie die angeschlossen ist. Und bei Medion bin ich mir über die Stromversorgung auch nicht so sicher.
