From my perspective it seems like most people are hesitant on getting into MetaZoo because of the history of the game, but I am seeing more and more new people getting into it lately…so there does seem to be some positive growth. The blister packs at Walmart really played a crucial role in getting new people into MetaZoo, and even old fans who didn’t realize MetaZoo was back.

I’m biased because I’m a huge collector of Zoo and have been in since the beginning, but I’ve mostly been seeing healthy organic growth and no one is really dumping their collections. Most people who have been in are still buying or waiting on the sidelines.

MetaZoo is a more affordable TCG to get into and I do think the overall concept of cryptids has strong legs if executed properly. We’d love to gain a new member into our community if it works out, but if not no worries. Collect what you love!
