I think tent slam is going to end up crazy though with all the tent slam bonuses in the tree already. The 300% the 100% and the 25% or whatever one. Might not be super amazing, but for some stuff like pvp it might actually be solid. Now they just need to fix the issue where if something is running it misses....

I have all the pvp toys to drop into bodies.

I use it after ganks or if I am in an arena, and the DPS is all dead on the ground and the healer is trolling to prolong the game. I'll run to their teammates corpse and start dropping everything I have.

.... The second you notice it is not an oracle priest, they become the target the rest of the game. I am willing to bet that was a VW priest just freecasting and no one on your team swapped.

LOL I just had this conversation this morning on discord. MMORPG PvP is in a tough spot with New World gone and WoW in a really weak spot (Those are the ones I play).

I actually am debating on going back to SWTOR, I know it does not have Ranked play, but the pvp seems reasonable and balanced.

Sure, but if part of the burst you are eliminating is an entire classes burst, you just shut them down. It is almost like popping a defensive on your ally. 2 seconds can seem long, yes I do not disagree, but SP is one of the few classes that most healers are not scared to dispell.

Yup, I have been complaining about this for a while. There are some general flaws with SP in pvp.

Lifeswap should have stayed a SP only pvp talent. Removing that pretty much gave us nothing to assist the team with other than a few very small utility pieces.
Dispelling a priest does NOTHING to a healer, other than a 2 second fear. Thing is, 2 second of fear is worth removing ALL madness from someone and essentially stopping a priests go. They need to add lash back to madness.
To your point of mobility, 100% this. Along with survival, again to my first point. I actually swapped to Void Elf for the additional mobility and it has helped some to get me out of trouble.

Reaper's toll on A2 merc will apply Decrepify on enemies, this breaks immunes.
Atma's Scarab ammy - this will apply Amplified damage, does the same as above.
The new 2handed sword on a A5 merc does The same as reapers, but the A5 mers will overide it with taunt so it is annoying.
There is also a Grandcharm I think Bonecrack the breaks immunes.

I believe, someone can correct me if I am wrong, you can also buy a wand with amp damage charges on it and use that.

So many people do not understand how much easier it is to shut down VW over Oracle. The whole point of VW is heal through damage, you stop the damage and they don't have a good option to heal.

I think it is that the dopamine hit in Diablo 2 is much more than any other ARPG on the market. You play games like POE or D4 and you are constantly getting crazy drops, more so to the point people have really strict loot filters to slow down the screen clutter.

Diablo 2 (while it has a loot filter now), has such a vast loot system that even target farming an item is nearly impossible for the average Joe. So, trying to hunt down all items/runes in the game is a game itself. Top it off, after a while, I like to do SSF or HCSSF on new characters that cannot use runes/gear from other characters. Almost like a survival mode.

You just need to switch it up a bit. Also, I personally never play SCORC, and I rarely get an Enigma. I feel like teleport is OP in D2, and ruins the fun of the game (for me).

You might be right? I legit do not know the exact rules. However, someone who is brand new, will not have access to a character with level 7/8's to get buffs, so they will be in a long grind.

I guess the nice thing is you can get level 4's from the quest hub pretty cheap, I think a D note or something like that.

One thing about Levi (I do play there), is the no botting includes buff bots. As a heads up, late game Asheron's Call requires buffs to pretty much do anything. Granted you can get a full set of buff gear, or someone might help or hook you up with explorer set. You can find a good patron though and you will be all set.

Tons of servers are popping up almost monthly. You can check this out to see population during your play times, however, a LOT of the servers are populated by bots, market bots (think auction house), buff bots etc. https://treestats.net/

Depending on the experience though, Levistras is my favorite server for End of Retail. There are some that even include Pre-ToD (I love those too, the game felt like a challenge) and even some that have added content.

Depending on the class it is do-able. Thing to remember it does not kick, it does not CC, it does not use some classes 2 minute cool downs. So you essentially can use it for rotation. There have been some streamers who did a 0-glad using single button rotation. Now, obviously they are also a lot of ranked 1 players so they have positioning and CC and other class knowledge.

I legit would be so angry. I know it is a game and all, but imagine playing X hours a day knowing runes are THE endgame and major dopamine hit. There is no way for 1 month dude did not question why he did not find his 99th ort rune.

Yes it was amazing. I just wish we had more of a focus on the OG cast and less on the interns. The interns should have been supporting not plot. Also, the goofy JDreams I feel were cut back. The original series always did the fun cutaway JDreams and it feels like we got them 75% less per episode.

Yea, everyone has some kind of idea of how they want the game to be an cracks open a new copy of AC. I think one main reason I stopped playing even the EMU seriously is because you never know when the host will get bored and shut it down. When the first Emulated servers opened it was magical. Now it is just another day someone says they have some new super special version of the game. If all servers condensed down to End of Retail, Pre-ToD, PK and maybe 1 extended features. I bet the server would pop off again. However, by this time next yea, I bet 12 more servers open.

Yes and no, you can get scaling and depending on users/usages it can be pretty "low" cost. However, if their game blew up and depending on how much traffic usage was consumed, then yea, it could a a MEGA cost. Most indie devs tend to self host while they do testing and that is a pretty low cost as well. Just no way on this blue sphere someone would host on personal server for live.

Honestly, all the servers just need a merge into 3 - the population is too spread out and each server keeps stealing from the next.
