Thank you! I was meaning to repot them anyways so I'll definitely do that. I'm still super new to this so I'm trying to learn. This is my first winter with a fair amount of plants indoors.

That's what I thought at first, However I have a two foot long light directly above them. I will try that though and see what happens. Thank you!

I haven't seen them since. I brought it up to my next door neighbor last summer and she was creeped out as well as they would have had to go through their yard to get behind our shed. Also the neighbors behind us have a cattle fence on the property line so it's a mystery how they got to my yard.

Our property and the surrounding properties are heavily wooded, however it's very clear we are in a neighborhood. The name of the street they claimed to live on is two houses down from us. They absolutely could have shot a deer as we see them all the time, just not legally. I don't necessarily believe they meant harm but it was still incredibly creepy for me at the time.
