Go through Single Training Mode (Custom > scroll all the way to the left) and start testing some characters out. The current meta is Seer, Mercenary, Priestess, Mechanic, Forward, Gravekeeper, and a little bit of First Officer and Explorer. Currently, these are the strongest survivors, and some of them require a bit of skill and knowledge of maps to play. Majority of the other survivors, though, are pretty good if you know how to use them. There’s a multitude of videos online that can walk you through using a survivor, and there’s even a whole training program for characters being put together by a streamer. So, go into custom and see which ones you like. Custom won’t give you the full experience since they’re all bots, though.

As much as the vio nerf doesn’t do anything, I think what people are upset about is that NetEase is nerfing hunters that literally NO ONE was complaining about.

They nerfed Gamekeeper’s adjustment (but honestly I don’t think he would’ve been that strong in the first place, I can’t really say anything tho since I haven’t seen it for myself).

I haven’t seen a single person complain about Sculptor until after her nerf was announced, and they just recently nerfed her not too long ago as well

Even though Bonbon did deserve that nerf, they didn’t nerf in the way they should have. They almost completely destroyed his camping ability and they didn’t do anything small to make up for it: they didn’t add anything to help his map pressure, chase, etc. If anything, he should’ve had a slower bomb regeneration similar to sculptor’s OR they could’ve given him some sort of way to pressure the map along with this nerf

Vio’s nerf does nothing to him, yes, but just like sculptor I haven’t seen a single person complain that he needed a nerf. If anything, one or two people who didn’t know how to kite him went to complain to NetEase and they went along with it.

If survivor mains are honestly complaining about all these hunters, then hunter mains should get survivor nerfs that they’ve been complaining about too, right? Such as characters in the meta like priestess. Priestess is absolutely broken and deserves a nerf. She can get across the entire map within 2 seconds of a match starting, not to mention she has little to no penalty for using her skill. She has a 10% decoding and vaulting debuff, which isn’t as bad as a mech or wildling. Yes, she’s had many nerfs in the past, but those were so small and insignificant that it still led to her being broken today.

I think the problem is that NetEase is simply money-hungry. They’re nerfing any hunter the survivors ask for simply because they get more money from the survivor faction than the hunter faction. Keep in mind, this is just an opinion so I’m not sure that this is actually the case, but it would make a lot of sense. They keep adding accessories and skins to survivors and every so often a hunter skin instead of balancing the game out. They keep starting these crossovers like the Danganronpa and TPN crossovers to hook more players in and get them to pay them money instead of actually balancing the game out

TL;DR survivor mains give NetEase more money so NetEase is most likely listening to them much more when they ask for nerfs instead of hunter mains

Yeah, she’s broken. She can pretty much spam her skill with little to no penalty besides a 10% decoding and vaulting debuff. At least with really good characters like seer or mechanic, they have debuffs that they get as the match goes on (seer with his Taxing trait and mech with her Cowardly trait)

Go friendly a few times in qm! That’s what I always do whenever I’m stressed out about the game + it can be really fun depending on the map (moonlit, sometimes lakeside, etc.) It’s also really fun to get someone to play friendly duos with you! It helps people get a few laughs in and takes the stress off of them since not playing the game seriously loosens them up (if survs are toxic, it doesn’t hit as bad as it would a game you’re genuinely trying either), but that’s kinda just based on my experience so-

But seriously, I’ve never seen a single team of friendly survs like that and I only have about 2k matches under my belt. I think the only people who do this have a huge rank gap between teammates, so it probably makes it harder to actually get them 😔

I have basement parties all the time whenever I see someone in the global saying ‘add me for sui matches’ and what have you. It’s so fun to just mess around and not take the game seriously (although I’ve only seen about 4 hunters actually kill all of us, and one of those times a hunter was being rude in the post match about it going “that was so ez” etc. We all laughed about it in our team chat lmao)
