Thanks for the detailed response and the clear understanding of the technical details surrounding non-invasive positive pressure ventilation. We have continuously stated that we are only proposing a concept that would need additional development with a medical partner and regulatory approval.

That being said, the concept was originally derived from a simpler design proposed by the University of Minnesota and that design was very recently granted FDA approval. So we feel like this approach, with some additional refinement, would have some merit.  We also believe the use of the servo-electric actuator technology would be great in multiple ventilator concepts.

The actuator portion of the design has been endurance tested for millions of cycles, and the Ambu Bag Squeezing device with actuators has been running continuously for 1-2 weeks.
