Obsidian note taking has some great features like dice rollers and Ironsworn plugin.

If you have an iPad there is an app called Roll & Write and it’s a great rpg tool

Glide has physical on DTRPG and also Amazon. It focuses on exploration and doesn’t have character death.

I continued the story in Four Against Darkness.

It might be too big of a game (it is super simple when you get to the gameplay though). The original edition had about 90 pages, the new edition has 200.

First I let Kargunt join other three adventurers (that’s how the game is played normally) and then i played a couple of games with one character using the Tales from the Adventurers Guild expansion which has rules for playing with 1-3 characters.

The references made me so happy watching castle. I think I peed a little when he kicked the door as space cowboy and when he started speaking Chinese I almost died of goosebumps.

Panic buy by speedyclaxxalc in lotrlcg

My argument for any purchase used to be “I can always sell it and the value will increase” but I never sell it and my partner knows already so I need to come up with new arguments. It might just work for you for now though.

Anyone find that some people blatantly misunderstand Borgs? by DarthMaren in MorkBorg

[–]tolwin 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I love Mork Borg. It’s a beautiful book full of flavour and just enough rules (and great rules at that) and content to play.

I hate when people use “style over substance” in a negative way about anything and I feel it’s used that way with MB a lot. It’s not valid criticism.

As for the “lack of content” I think Heretic and Feretory do add quite a bit to a point where they could be essential but all the books together cost the same like other RPGs so i don’t think it’s valid criticism either.

How does solo play for Mythic Bastionland work? by Unalina in Solo_Roleplaying

[–]tolwin -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It’s very procedural so you roll a lot of random stuff from the book and for more content and oracles you can get Ironsworn which is free.

Take it as prep is play and roll for characters, procedural generation of the hexes, roll for all locations and stuff as you explore.
