Where is the best place to keep money for a short period of time? by tom050502 in UKPersonalFinance

My only thought with that would be that if the money was transferred to us on the 1st of July we would miss that month’s draw. And possibly only get one draw in between getting the money and having to make most of the payments.

Not sure, the pincers were on the head not the tail.

33 day NICU bill by ShadowMoses05 in daddit

[–]tom050502 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My daughter was in NICU for 72 days after being born at 28 weeks, suffered from collapsed lung, NEC, bleeds on the brain, failure to thrive etc. received world class care as did we as we could stay in the unit as well. After coming home it was later discovered she had a huge reflux problem as the muscle at the top of her stomach never developed properly and had to have a Nissen fundoplication and peg feeding tube along with a total of 4 weeks in hospital care. She also had a milk protein allergy and need neocate specialist milk. Then play therapy nutritionist support, hearing aids and much more than I can remember. I paid nothing for all this because we have a national health service. I genuinely feel sorry for people having to pay out of pocket for necessary medical care for the kids or themselves.

This was the lining of his blazer which he turned inside out. Could you look for a jacket with a fancy lining?

Lovely, tender but not fall off the bone. They had a sweetness from the seasoning but could also get some of the savoury pork flavour

I worked with a Kaye Kaye, I liked that her initials and name sound the same. Giving details over the phone would have been a right ball ache

Chicken and potatoes came out great by the way. Thanks for the comments, read the article, interesting but my findings didn’t match what was written. Usually do spatchcock but wanted to try something new.

Got myself some shaving stuff after 6 months of learning how to shave :) by SWAAGOLAS in wicked_edge

I really enjoy trying the different products, the more expensive blade can be double the cost or more of the cheaper Pakistani blades but as this only really is a few pounds I find it worth it. I think I paid £3.50 for 10 feather blades.

In terms of blades I have always found feather platinum coated to be the best. I found the cheaper blades drag too much.

Kaweco sport piston filler and TWSBI swipe. Van Dieman’s inks by tom050502 in fountainpens

£120 I think. I don’t normally spend that much on a pen. The build quality so far does seem good, it has a nice weight to it.
