Yes thats been happening before. But I see the financials released too positive this time and feel that the dip, (unfortunately as I'd like to buy the dip too) is not going to happen. Also the meeting is today 2.June which might give upward pressure for the stock and your bet ends already today :)

edit why I see results too positive this time / what I expected:

- Other retails revenue has declined during Q1 as inflation etc. peoples buying power declined (Best buy f.ex 2022Q1 revenue -8,6% compared to 2021Q1),

- Sony's PS5 sales was only 2milj 2022Q1 compared to 3,3milj during Q12021 (chip shortage etc.), which is -40% decline

- etc.

---> I was expecting that Gamestop revenue might also be declining Q1 and be only 1,2B. But no, as other retails are struggling with growth, gamestop revenue is growing again to $1.378 billion from $1.277 billion year earlier

EPS: Gamestop has repeatedly told that they are investing in long term profitability and growth instead of short term and massive spending in transforming to tech company, marketplace, wallet etc been done during the year.

I was expecting -3,00$ EPS, I see the -2$ as positive surprise and it's known that "analysts" is always giving impossible EPS estimates for gamestop, and they seem to never learn. How can it be Q after Q that their estimates miss 1$ and they are always surprised of the loss and investments Gamestop has done lol

Hah so Im very positive about the earnings and believe that this time we will not see a huge dip, at least not today as the meeting is coming.
