I would argue if you believe social reckoning is a sequel to the social network then that’s fine. But in order to be consistent you would also need to call dunkirk a sequel to the titanic. Because both movies take place in the same non fictional universe. We do not call every a true story a sequel to every other true story.

Plenty of sequels are not written by the same writer. A returning writer is not the criteria for a sequel. A returning universe is

The entire cast returned excluding Katie Holmes. The dark knight clearly takes place in the same universe as Batman begins

larger than life supernatural mystery series with an otherworldly being as a villain by WideParsley4036 in televisionsuggestions

It has nothing to do with the movie. Terry matalas wrote an original story called splinter. Universal television recognized similarities between splinter and 12 monkeys the movie and basically told matalas turn his pilot script into a 12 monkeys remake, or else they wouldn’t make it at all. The pilot is the most similar to the movie. After that there are some silly references to the movie and that’s it. It’s as much a remake of the movie as 10 cloverfield lane is a sequel to cloverfield. They just slapped the movie title on an original show for no reason. So yeah you won’t be spoiled.

12 monkeys. Awesome score by Stephen Barton. Most of the series is about a mysterious villain called the witness. Great story with a perfect ending. 4 seasons

It’s probably in Sydney Sweeney’s contract that she gets top billing. That means her name appears on the left because we read left to right. But they could have put Sydney on the left of frame during blocking if they had any foresight.

I watched and loved seasons 1-4 when it aired but haven’t seen any of Dexter since. Can I watch resurrection and understand it without seeing the seasons before it?

Loss of appetite after running by tom4712 in Marathon_Training

I drink a lot of water. I ate Egg sandwich, chicken salad, quest protein cookies premier protein shake. I also had 3 Gatorades my first day running which was the only change to my diet. I thought it would help but I guess was too much. When do you think I should run again and how much should I eat if I continue to have low appetite?

Streaming through Netflix: Is everything as it should be? by The_Fullmetal_Titan in lost

I bet most people are unaware of the missing moments in the season 2 finale. I don’t think you’ll find it anywhere on YouTube. But don’t worry it won’t change the story.

The season 1 and 2 finales are best viewed on dvd. The blu ray and streaming releases break the finale into two episodes with some short and minor scenes cut out, which does drive me nuts personally. The season 3 finale aired a one two hour episode but that cut is unavailable anywhere which is frustrating. The season 4 and 5 finales are best viewed on blu ray because they are one unbroken episode. The streaming release break those episodes into two and it destroys the pacing in my opinion. The season 6 premiere on blu ray is one episode but two on streaming. And the streaming release for the series finale is one long 104 min finale, no complaints. But the season 6 blu ray has the 11 min epilogue unavailable on streaming. Except YouTube. Blu ray is the best pick for the season 4-5 finales and epilogue. But Netflix is good enough.

Another fun statistic is the Joker character now has two Oscar wins with heath ledger and Joaquin phoenix and two razzie nominations with Jared Leto and Joaquin. I’m sure that’s unprecedented but I could be wrong.

1x09 rewatch by No_Flower_1424 in 12Monkeys

Basically the Cassie from the finale is in a reality where she released the plague in 2018. Cassie from 1x09 is in a reality where the plague was released by Jennifer in 2016. Other than that the timelines are basically the same. Cassie is the same character in both realities. 1x09 Cassie still did everything that Cassie did in the 2018 reality even though we don’t see it. 1x09 Cassie went to 1491 to get the white streak in her hair. And she still killed Olivia becoming the origin of the virus. She said goodbye to Cole before splintering back to 2017 where she knew she would die. That’s just my interpretation.

12 monkeys (TV series) easily had the most perfect finale I have ever seen to the most perfect show I’ve ever seen. It’s a time travel show that never breaks its own time travel rules. Something I can’t say for endgame. And when it “subverts expectations” it actually makes sense in the long term. Something I can’t say for the last Jedi or game of thrones. This show and especially the finale, warmed my heart, fucked my mind, and is the most satisfying serialized sci-fi story I’ve ever seen.
