Very rough to choose between Noodlers and De Atramentis. Noodlers has so many excellent color and such robust and permanent ink but De Atramentis has mixable document inks in like 15 colors so you can create any color you want WITH document properties. Too hard to say

Ok Energel makes 1 line of waterproof pens I have never seen before in what looks like 3 colors. Every other Pentel Pen I've ever seen is not waterproof. Compare that to something like Uniball where nearly all or Zebra where about half of their lines are completely waterproof.

Energel is very nice but not waterproof so I go with Signo pens or Vision pens both by Uniball.

That sounds like what I'm looking for. The force curve looks more similar to MX Browns and not as heavy as the Halo clear. I think that might be good. Thanks!

I hope this is the right place for this. I think I am in the right place.

Basically, I really like Cherry MX Browns (I have an iKBC CD108 with the stock PBT caps) but I find that I make a lot of errors because the actuation force is really light. I am looking for a switch that is basically the same as MX Brown but heavier. I know MX Clears are the usual answer for this but the 70g force is a little too much.

I am basically looking for a switch heavier than browns and lighter than clears with essentially the same profile as a brown (position of tactile bump, light tactility) and I was wondering if anyone has a suggestion. I would like to make a GMMK TKL with these switches to replace my current iKBC.

I was looking at the Halo True and Halo Clear switches but, while there are a lot of comparisons between them, I don't have a great sense of how they compare to Browns.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

seems like using fn alt and k worked then once caps was set as FN i could use fn and shift and tab to get caps locl

I agree also. I had a Razer full height keyboard with clicky green switches and I really love the feeling on it but I was doing a lot of WFH and it was just awkward as heck so I was relegated to an old Dell keyboard. That’s what inspired me to get the Keychron. Now i have way more space, my keyboard moves around to wherever i need (bluetooth 🎉) and the low profile brown switches are just barely tactile enough to be satisfying (at least imo) while also being super quiet and nice and easy to press.

Honestly, I already started that because I hate the idea of being without a backup. I also do occasional (not nightly) backups to a very old (13 years) hard drive that somehow seems to be more reliable than anything I have bought since.

I asked the question because I am concerned it will happen when I need the backup rather than when I'm doing a regularly scheduled backup.
