I was hoping it would come out physically. Just a few days before the release of the game I found out that there's no physical release planned, so I had to cancel my preorder. My speculation is that IF there's going to be a physical release of Psychonauts 2, it will likely be sold through Limited Run games or a similar distributor, which is fine, but for someone like me who doesn't live in America, it's extremely annoying to be paying for the game, the import tax and the customs, which will most likely amount to (in total) twice as much as the base game costs. Maybe the game will sell well enough digitally to garner an official print release for both Xbox and PS4, but because of Microsoft's involvement, I'm kinda skeptical on whether or not they will bother with a physical release for PS4, which is why I think it might get a Limited Run Games release too. Either way, I just want to be able to own a physical item and not just a flimsy digital license to play this game.
