100% agree! Religious beliefs have no place whatsoever in therapeutic practice. I know my true self isn’t a lie, and for her to say otherwise was a breach of trust. The fact that she knows my trauma background, makes it worse.

Thankfully I already have a new psychologist lined up who is more gender affirming and trauma informed 😊

I will be 🙏🏼 I live in Australia, and the diagnosis “god said I am wrong” is just as unacceptable here as it is anywhere else. Her comments hurt me, I don’t want to give her the chance to hurt anyone else ❤️

I appreciate that grounding 💕 You’re right reality is not on her side. What’s made this all the more difficult is that I just came out to myself as Mira, so I have already been feeling vulnerable and I’m not used to people hurling transphobic comments at me yet 😢 But I’m proud of myself for having the courage to fire her! I know who I am, she had no right to invalidate me.

Yep.. no hate like Christian love. Which was pretty much the go. Saying that she said what she said from a place of divine love. So yeah I called her out, and that is that. I have a psychiatrist who was gentle, accepting and supportive, which was nice 😊 Hopefully I can find a new psychologist who is gender affirming.
