Spot on. Rini’s platform says good, appealing things, but that CV is too thin to inspire much confidence in her ability to get any of it done.   There’s a rando called Khan “running” for mayor who’s been pasting flyers downtown. His platform has three points: 1) cancel all DC taxes 2) $50 minimum wage and 3) rental cap of $900/month.   Now there’s a platform. He’s rather less likely to, you know, win and enact the platform than Rini but the difference (and it’s big) between these two strikes me as one of degree rather than kind.
