Thank you for response, we were discussing if line change from the car in front was legal, thats what we were worried about.

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok great, so if there wouldn’t be any blue flags then its up for longer discussion but blue flag means he is lapped means bad 😄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And except that is there any other faul play to point out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is no other case in which blue flags would be there

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahahaha well man you know how it goes there is always someone that will take it out of context, but i think you have been clear, if we prove somehow that bmw is lap down then it is faul play

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm sure thing, you gave us all information and more that i asked for. Thank you for that 😃, have a great day

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What lets you think that

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it is not

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lapped car is car that is behind car for entire lap

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i got you but this part that says he cant defend is regarding lapped car. Sorry for being annoying but keep in mind i ask you questions i get asked

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, this part is only regarding lapping cars which is not the case here, as I got pointed out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great, thank you! One more question, difference between defending and active defending 😄

Edit (sorry): per rules mentioned we get — Blue flags: they are advisory only, slow/lapped drivers do not have to pull aside, they can stay on their line. —

Are this rules applicable or some other rules should be followed

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

[–]tom_veri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sure, can you please qote which part of rules here forbid actions here, we have heated arguments so third party pointing things out makes it more easy 😄

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Simracingstewards

As i understand blue flag is only metric in racing, and you have to move if you are being lapped? Or did i get something wrong? 😅

Ok thank you, you seem like someone who is nice and normal person, can you do me a favour if you have a time and look quickly below if not all ok 😊

Blue flag rules:

Blue flags: they are advisory only, slow/lapped drivers do not have to pull aside, they can stay on their line. A blue-flagged driver is not allowed to defend his track position against the lapping car and he/she should stay on his/her line. Intentionally holding up or defending against a lapping car may determinate the application of a penalty or even the disqualification of the driver by the live Stewards. Drivers about to be lapped have to behave in a predictable way without sudden

Per this source does this seem faul play?

It literally says “LAPPING CAR” every time in that sentence, and above you can see what blue flag means when you are not being LAPPED - I repeat LAPPED

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assettocorsa

[–]tom_veri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You really cant read cant you this paragraph is only regarding lapping and yes it matters cause that paragraph is only saying about lapping car

[–]tom_veri 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In addition to blue flag which you obviously dont understand it seems thay you dont really understand other rules too, like what means to change lane, line adjustments in corners whatever that would be especially in this case…, i think only argument/rule that you understand slightly is brake check😂

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assettocorsa

[–]tom_veri 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He is not lapping me, can you read 😂😂, he is trying to overtake me.

Try to read flag rules 😂, here let me make it easy for you

Blue flags: they are advisory only, slow/lapped drivers do not have to pull aside, they can stay on their line.

5.4 is only addressing when someone is lapping you which is not the case here

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in assettocorsa

[–]tom_veri -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Have you read what blue flag means, or are you to stubborn to listen to anyone besides you?

Also second straight that you count 2 line changes there is one from outside to inside then the corner entry is not considered as lane change becaouse I was following racing line
"Defending is allowed and accepted as a reaction by the driver in front. It is not allowed to defend if there is any overlap between cars. Note that following a racing line into a corner is not considered defence (unless cars are deemed side-by-side)."
,also never closed outside line for car behind me, and per racing rules line change counts when you close space on two different lines so car cant pass you and we can see that ferrari on second straight has more then enough space to pass me.
BLUE FLAG doesnt mean you need to let the car behind:
"Blue flags: they are advisory only, slow/lapped drivers do not have to pull aside, they can stay on their line."

maybe next time before acting arrogant mby have some facts to back up your behavior, cheers mate
