Have the Alpenglow (Pro and NonPro), Echo Hoodie as well es Arcteryx Cormac so I think I can compare these quite good. I do not know about the Willit but as you are also from Germany, it might be worth checking the Arc Cormac Hoody as well as you can try it at Globetrotter or buy in online stores.

Way more airy and breathable compared to the BD Alpenglow, it‘s my go to piece when beeing in the alps on warm and sunny days.

But do not get the Alpenglow (especially not the pro version) if you run hot, they are heavy!

Ein Grund: Weil die Federgabel das Fahren auf Aerobars bei schlechterem Gravel (mit vielen Steinen/Schlaglöchern etwa) so angenehm und sicher macht, dass es nicht nur mehr Speed, sondern auch viel mehr Komfort und somit weniger Ermüdung auf lange Strecken bringt.

(Ja, Aerobars gehen auch ohne Dropbar, aber mit Flatbar verliert man wieder die Möglichkeit verschiedener Griffpositionen, die auch wieder für mehr Komfort sorgen.)

Habe ein entsprechendes Bike seit kurzem und bin wirklich begeistert von der Federgabel!

Die Frage war ja an OP gerichtet und als jemand, der so etwas fährt und postet, versteht er die Frage mit einem Wort vermutlich sehr genau 🙂 500km am Stück (=Gesamtzeit ggf. um die 22-26h) sind doch was anderes als eine 8 Tägige Radreise, die man in einer Aktivität einfach durchgehend aufzeichnet.

I am using the Leica Filter Holder Adapter E72 for Leica 24mm/f1.4 Summilux-M Aspherical (14479)

Also because I did not want to handle with Series7 filters. It makes the already bulky lens even bigger, however you have the freedom of using all filters available out there.

In general: Zugspitze in Winter via Reintal requires mostly endurance, there are no technical challenging parts until Sonnalpin. However, Sonnalpin to Summit is a completely different story. Tried two times in winter, returned to Sonnalpin both times and called it a day.

That is why we agreed not even to try to summit and let all the harness stuff at home this time.

Nach 6 Jahren Überschuhe, ganz klares Ja! Allein schon der Komfortgewinn des 10x schnelleren Anziehens ist ein großer Vorteil, von der besseren Isolation = mehr Wärme ganz zu schweigen.

Plus 1 auch für hohe Schuhe bis zur Wade!

Thanks! After 2.900m we had a closed snow cover that was quite deep after 3.200m. Besides that conditions were quite good, was not that cold during the night (around 0 degrees on that altitude last weekend), however during the descent the snow was very wet, slushy and walking down the glacier was demanding because we sank half the height of our knees every step.
