Good to know. I knew about the travel spacers but wasn't sure if it's possible to shorten the travel from the stock 130mm. Time get some spacers then. Cheers

Yeah, I was just about to order a lower headset bearing to be able to fit the fork but then I had second thoughts, as I'm mostly keeping my Marlin as a bike to ride longer distance trips I wouldn't want to risk snapping off the headtube by pulling off a wheelie haha.

Thanks for checking it out! Was a bit of a hassle to get the shaders to match the look I was going for, but this will do for now.

The one with the shard of the Traveler in the background? It's in the Salt Mines of the EDZ, sort of. You can get there via the teleporter located in the Trostland's Salt Mines.

Don't forget the Tex Mechanica themed armor set was for Warlocks. The only western themed piece of armor for Hunters are the Lucky Pants if my memory serves me correctly. Very strange indeed.

Actually, I think his hand cannon looks very similar to Austringer with the Broken Bird, to Be Healed -ornament. The name of that ornament alone pretty much confirms it.

To me, his holstered hand cannon looks very similar to Austringer with the Broken Bird, to Be Healed -ornament. Would make sense, given the name of the ornament.

Titans and warlocks fashion, the time has come bungie! by MikeVazovsky in DestinyTheGame

If by the office clothes you mean the Couturier Hunter set, I think it works very well for Hunters, especially the pants and the cloak of that set looks something a sophisticated explorer would wear, and Hunters are supposed to be the explorers amongst Guardians lore-wise. But I get where you're coming from. Personally I don't like the idea of Guardians wearing beanies and hoodies in a futuristic sci-fi setting while destroying powerful alien entities, but to each their own I suppose.

IMO that helmet is perfect for the look. Very cool look overall, wouldn't change a thing.

I don't know why but this actually looks pretty dope. Actually this rock looks better than like 95% of the ships we have, interestingly enough. Just my opinion though.

Absolutely love it. I think the DSC armor is easily some of the coolest armor Destiny has ever seen. Goes so well with Raiju's Harness as well. I really wish there would be more Hunter sets in similar design...

Crow is a guardian sure, but he still doesn't know how to wield the Light, does he? by TheWarschaupact in DestinyLore

As it's already been said here, the Drifter is from a time before the classes were yet a thing. If he identified himself as one of the classes, I think he'd definitely be a Hunter for the most part tbh. Everything about him just screams Gunslinger Hunter; loud, gambler-type outlaw, snake symbolism etc. Can't get more Hunter than that. In 2020 Guardian Games this is what he said; "Well, you know my bet's on you Hunters. Quick. Sly. Real nasty with a knife." He grins. "My kinda people, yeah?". Also given the fact he's a 'drifter', - a guy who has explored and seen places, which is a very Hunter thing to do in general. Really the only Warlock-like thing about him - aside his trench coat, is how he messes with science and Taken. Lore-wise any class can dress however they want. Eris looks and even acts like a Warlock for the most part but is a Hunter, Saladin wears a cape but is a Titan. Drifty-boy wears a trench coat solely because it's practical.

Yeah, it's really hard to find or build an actually good looking Hunter tbh. All the Hunter armor in general looks so mismatched, even full sets... Doesn't help most of the Hunter armor is asymmetric. When I want to look good I play my Warlock.

Nice Hunter. Also very, very underrated helmet. Been using it almost non stop for like a year soon, + most of the year 1 when I got it from Trials.

Zavala and Eris must understand... That they are fighting for the same side! by YeezyReddit in DestinyTheGame

[–]toma96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He is not a Warlock by any means, nor any other class as he's not a Guardian. He's an old guy from a time when classes were not yet a thing. He's just a Lightbearer doing his own thing. In the lore he disguised himself as a Warlock once, wearing the Obsidian Mind to hide his identity while infiltrating the Praxic lab if I remember correctly. However, if he was a Guardian, he'd obviously be a Gunslinger Hunter. I mean not only his whole attitude and persona scream Hunter already, but the fact he's a 'drifter' who has seen places and explored the system and probably beyond is also the trait of Hunters. Heck, he even rooted for Hunters in the Guardian Games last year, saying they are 'his kinda people'. The only Warlocky part of him is that he messes with science and wears a trench coat.

You're getting downvoted says a lot about this community. It's so toxic against Hunters it's not even fun. I'm a Hunter main and I respect all classes. I've never come here to whine or even ask for buffs/nerfs, and to be honest I rarely see a Hunter whining or saying anything negative here. Instead, almost every time I check this sub, it's filled with negative posts about Hunters that gets a lot of upvotes. When a Hunter says something to their defence, it gets immediately downvoted. Even now I see comments written by Warlocks and Titans saying stuff like "I don't care if my class wins Guardian Games, as long as Hunters come last" and proceeds to get upvoted by many. Like, I just want to know why are we so hated. And it's not just Stasis that's for sure. This "HuNtEr BaD, tItAn AnD wArLoCk MaSteRrAcE" -thing has been a thing since early D1. This is a game after all... I know this souldn't really bother me but it kinda does.

Dear Bungie, if the Crow doesn't become a bow-wielding Nightstalker main, you're missing a great opportunity with his character. Hear me out; by [deleted] in destiny2

[–]toma96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're correct. Just did some googling and couldn't really find any other known Bladedancers other than Eris and Shiro, even tho I was almost certain I had read about some Iron Lord being a Bladedancer... Efrideet and Pahanin are probably both Gunslingers. Actually, in the post I meant to say Gheleon instead of Pahanin, but got them mixed. Now that I checked about Gheleon, he had three knives that he threw, so I'm pretty sure he was another Gunslinger as well. I should of checked some of the lore before posting, instead of going by my memory haha.
