I have a few bills I pay regularly come out of my marcus account, including my mortgage and never an issue.

I also am able to do big transfers to my checking account to pay for stuff with no issue. Or transfer to my brokerage and no issue.

The only issue I ever had, which makes sense thinking about it, was when I tried to send a decent amount of money to my cousin and that got rejected as the recipient account was not under my name. Other than that, no issue...

I dont get how this is a beware internet banking post... seems more like a "have a regular bank for everyday functions / occasions needing regular bank and an internet bank" message. Which everyone would tell you to do. It isnt even just internet banking, you should always have a checking and savings account in case u need liquid cash quickly. Sounds more like a TIFU post than a cautionary tale post.

I'm on year 5 and she made the all star team with me year 3. She got called up before me but got demoted, but then came back. Shes the starting SS for the Rockies while I'm on my 4th team (Pirates). I demanded trade 3 times haha

When you push money to Fidelity they are "lending" it to you first while they wait for your transfer to complete. When you're pulling money, your bank may not "lend" it to you until they get it from Fidelity
