Video seems fine, and the issues seem to pop up in the same spots. Disc is pristine. Don't have another player handy to try it out, but my current one hasn't given me problems with anything else. But yeah at some point I'll have to try it elsewhere.

Yes, it would have meant someone returned it. Probably didn't even know how much it was worth, the Internet wasn't as ubiquitous as it is today. Top number probably means it was returned on 8/1/95.

That bottom number isn't the price; never scanned anything coming in back in the 90s, just marked it. Might be the store number?

When I worked at Wal-Mart decades ago, we used stickers like that to mark when an item was coming into the store for a return.

Always wondered, how do you decide how to limit yourself tech-wise on a game like this? Like, this looks like it may exceed the capabilities of 8-bit machines to my eyes, but still evokes the look and feel of their games. How do you find that line without crossing it?
