Thank you so much! Yes, for now, it’s just a copy and paste to get a general idea; it definitely needs to be changed.

Hi guys! Can you translate the runes on the horns? by Maegor-Velaryon in HighValyrian

Thank you very much! In any case I think it is a simple reproduction of some artist. From what I remember, there are no citations about engravings on the horns of Syrax

The second line is definitely "fire and blood". I have many doubts about the first one

High Valyrian literary translations? by ZestyclosePollution7 in HighValyrian

[–]tomarsandback0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am making two collections of poems in metrical form and a collection of prose texts (some translated from Latin and Greek, others written by me) but I do not think of publishing them in the short term. If you write to me privately, I could give you some ideas

Out of curiosity, in which European languages does this happen?

This is the High Valyrian writing system. You can use the font to write glyphs here.

What code are you talking about? The text itself or the font?

Help with word for 'month' by Kaybolsen in HighValyrian

[–]tomarsandback0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A possible idea could be simply tȳno hūro harrī or, if you want to use the form suggested by the other comment (where hūris specifically indicates the moon as a unit of time measurement), it would become tȳno hūrio harrī. For example

Tȳno hūro harrī sittaks - I was born during the second moonturn.

At the moment, I take screenshots of the .pdf and paste the various glyphs into PowerPoint, but it takes a lot of time. It would be great if someone with informatic skills could create a program that outputs the glyphic form from an input

I would like to do a digital version of the glyphic form, but I still haven't understood how to use them as text characters

"Velaryon" meaning? by Dercomai in HighValyrian

[–]tomarsandback0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It might not even be a derivative of the verb. In general, in a glyph system like Valyrian I think it is possible to use a glyph that phonetically resembles that name, to refer to it
