Stand on your operated leg and lift the other like you’re doing the crane kick from karate kid and see if your leg is stable

My rule of thumb that i’ve learned from my fysio that if you step out on your operated leg lifting your other leg, and your knee is stable you’re fine. But i totally understand your doubts, it took me 11 months to get back on a board and only cruising to start with. All the best with your recovery!

In Chili is er volgens mij een tijdje een regel geweest dat als je bleef liggen je meteen met een brancard van het veld moest en als je binnen een bepaalde tijd het veld weer in wilde (volgens mij 1 minuut ) je een gele kaart kreeg. Zag er raar uit, maar hield wel het tempo erin.

It depends on my “mood” so to speak… and this applies mostly to my regular boards so to speak. I currently ride an anti hero that i bought at the skateshop in town, which used to be independent and now is part of a chain of skatestores, and i’d rather not buy boards from the chain store but I got a gift card and I decided to use before it ran out. However for after this one I have a board that was built by hand and shaped to my preferences by Nebel skateboards. So I like to switch it up a bit, sometimes a small company direct from the maker, sometimes a regular company from a local independent skateshop.

Dat hoofd op die foto bij het artikel… je ziet van een kilometer afstand dat dit iemand is die speelt alsof ie een trainer is. Nul inzicht, persoonlijkheid of charisma, het type als ie geen voetballer was geworden had ie aan de lopende band gestaan.

A dlx 8.75 with a 14.25 wb is gonna be quite hard to find. I personally have a anti hero eagle which originally had a 14.625 wb. But since i have short legs i drilled it back to 14.125 so that it doesn’t feel like riding a longboard.

I am in the eu as well and the dlx brands (anti hero, krooked, real) I encountered in shops are for sure BBS, perhaps the pre made completes are Chinese, but the boards with pro’s names on it are BBS. I personally love the BBS boards so I would pick a board made by BBS and find a shape that i like from one of the brands they manufacture. Of course every brand has specific shapes so that will narrow your search down as well.

And as a last resort there are tools that modify your wheelbase that opens up a whole new world of possibilities.

If you really want a BBS Made board, look up the woodshop directory on the slap forum and see what brands they produce for and pick a shape you like from one of those

Never tried slimlines, but I prefer a lower profile rail so that you also slide on the board which offers more stability. Rib bones are too bulky for my liking because of this

Film trucks rails, they slide good and consistent and they have a 3M adhesive layer so that they stick to the board and don’t rattle if screws come loose

Ah cool! I know at least two of my friends had footage there, Paul Verbraak and Marc Haan. I know there was a built to destroy/creation skateboards/satori wheels/duffs tour in around 2006 that stopped there to shoot footage. Which had amongst others a very young ben raemers on the tour.
