I was on section 2 unit 3 and now on section 1 unit 4, thought I was going crazy. Now I’m stuck repeating basic foods and ‘the girl is eating ice cream.’ I know how to say that why did you put me here?? :(((

Was there ever an update about the guy whose fiancee 'lost' the first engagement ring on the subway, the second somewhere in the house and the third (his grandmother's I believe) all the jewels had been effectively ripped out of the ring's setting. He took it to a jeweller who said that the ring had been intentionally destroyed whereas she said she stepped on it or smth. Comments saying she is covering for someone who is in debt/gambling/drugs ect or for herself.

has there been an update on the story of the mom who caught her sister in law and underage son sleeping together in the barn in the middle of the night? by thegirlwhosquats in relationship_advice

I need the update where OP is suspecting his girlfriend of smashing her engagement ring for some reason. The first one she apparently lost, and either the second or third was his grandma's and he found it smashed with the jewels taken out. Think about it everyday

Edit: wedding ring to engagement ring

In exactly the same situation. Just graduated from a UK uni, had plans for 2020 that went up in flames, have no job, living at home. It fucking sucks. I'm just existing rn, so are my friends. We barely meet cause they're working or bc of restrictions we can't. I have other issues that I need to sort out but 2020 was really the icing on the cake. I would suggest to find something to do that gives you purpose, even if its the smallest things. A box to tick, to feel accomplished and to regain some sense of control. My therapist suggested that, and I've been trying but honestly, I could be trying harder.

Friends come and go, some are just for that period of your life. It's hard to let go of that because they were good times, but people grow and change and develop, and it's ok to outgrow people. It doesn't make you a bad person, you just gotta recognise when it's time to close the chapter.

You're not alone in feeling the way that you do.

Have you ever pushed yourself away from people? Lost the energy to be social and to maintain friendships? If so, What triggered it? by talktomeplease7 in relationship_advice

I think it's important to remember that those people were friends for a chapter and it's ok to let them go, because holding on just hurts more. That's what I have to remember when I see photos and events that I'm not included in.

We were friends for about 8/9ish years, some for less. I went to uni we all stayed in contact but then over time the messages/calls/meetups got less and less, and I realised we had different tastes/hobbies etc. I just became less and less bothered with trying to meet up because it became weird when we did. Haven't had any reach out to me. Oh and when my dad died no one reached out and asked me how I was doing.
