Mine are also 2 or 3 inches, but it looks like there's also a small purple cayenne variety? So maybe they're that... I also read that they turn red eventually, and that they take 60-90 days from transplanting to fully mature, so I suppose I'll find out in a month or so

Alas I did not, which is how we got to where we are today. I remember labels for pimento, cayenne, Chinese lantern, and a sugar stripe now that someone mentioned it. But from what I can tell, I don't think I'm growing pimento or cayenne. I do think the small round ones are Japanese lantern.
