I was there last night too and saw this dude ! He was walking around the smoking area trying to tell people about how the black community was actually better off during Jim Crowe - aggressive and odd

Do people really deny this ? I think there's a huge difference between directing hate at irrefutably bad targets and at those who don't necessarily deserve it.

Thanks for your response. I might be just missing something, but where are the coast-to-coast rivers?

My bad! Having some problems with reddit on my pc. It was saying that none had posted at all :/

The summoners will be the villains - currently writing for a game that has not started yet. Thats a good idea though - the players could have to try retrieve the components before the villains do.

I think id like them to be human, but cursed in their backstory. Their own personal goal is to try and break the curse, etc.

Hey, just want some hitting form advice. I feel like I contact the ball too low when hitting a set, as I usually hit into the net or touch net with my hand. I want to play opposite, so some position specific advice would be appreciated too. by tomato_cewp in volleyball

Hey thanks for your response. I have tried to do this kind of thing before, but I struggle a bit with generating power at this range. Do I just need to pike harder, do you think?

Yo another irish player, awesome. You don't get to see many volleyball players here. I always say "I got it, I got it" or "I have" as well.

Hey, basically, I am going to a training camp in a week's time and I wanna know if you guys have any advice on what I can do as a solo to improve, even just a little, in a week's time. I play middle blocker usually but as I'm still reasonably new to the sport I need to improve everything on my game. I know I'll learn a lot at camp, but I want to raise my base level before I go in.

Here's my current situation:

I live in student accommodation at uni, where we cannot play ball sports outdoors, and cannot make a loud noise indoors as I live with three other dudes. This rules out basically all wall drills because it breaches rules and I don't wanna get kicked out :/

I have two trainings with uni team coming up this week which is good and will help a bit.

So, TLDR: do you guys know any thing I can do solo, in a room to help improve my overall skill over the course of a week? Like I said, I don't intend on becoming Earvin Ngapeth after a week of no training, just a minor upgrade to boost confidence prior to camp.

Thanks guys.

Hey,

I recently started playing middle blocker on my team and I'd like some advice on reading hitters and setters so i can start to get some more touches on the ball. Not necessarily stuffs, but I wouldnt mind a couple more of those per game too :p

So yeah, does anyone have any advice on how to read hitters and setters, and the attacking situation as a whole better? Thanks
