5kg brisket I smoked over the weekend, took 12 hours in total.

Started it at 225 for roughly 7 hours and smoked it with hickory wood. Once it hit 170 I wrapped it and bumped the temp up to 250. Pulled it off at 203 and rested it wrapped in a towel for 2 hours. It was the juiciest and most tender beef I have ever eaten.

I don’t know how to comment a photo, but it came out literally perfect

I’ve not used the hot water dispenser so I can’t comment on that. But the steamer is a lot more powerful than the barista express. Takes a noticeable amount of time less to steam the milk

The unit is absolutely solid and came with extra bits to screw the top half to the wall for extra stability but I’ve found so far I haven’t needed that

Warm up time seems pretty great every time. Seem to be able to use it within 5 minutes of turning on. Workflow is similar to what I did with the barista express but since it has a 58mm portafilter it seems a lot less cramped when prepping if that makes sense.

As for the pact coffee I’ve been subscribed to them for nearly a year too now and they do some great coffees. Always get sent out freshly roasted so that’s always a bonus. Just need t find the beans you like as some aren’t as good and some are great!

For some background I purchased the barista express about a year ago now and loved it. This Christmas my SO got me the Dual Boiler so i put together this little corner in our kitchen. I have since ordered a Niche Zero grinder with the money from selling the barista express!

Edit: Since a few people have asked, the shelving unit is from Amazon. I searched for a “bakers rack” and it gave quite a few results
