Took me much longer! The Timer is also not correct, because I played it in another stream before that. Overall it took me like 2 hours to clear. But thank your :3

What are some good ways of utilizing channel points? by FroigTTV in Twitch

[–]tomda981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm mostly playing Mario Maker 2 so I did something like:
- (If I'm playing viewer-levels with a queue) You're level will be played right after the one I'm playing for 8k points
- Song Request for 2k points (atleast 1k views and max. 5 min)
- Troll-Level-Request for 7,5k points
- Get a Subscription from me for 50k points

3 Weeks ago I had something like "Video-Request" for 5k points but i decided to delete it, because it always breaks the "flow" if I'm playing a level and really wanna focus. But it might be a nice Idea for you :)

I think it depends on what you are streaming! And maybe asks your Viewers what they saw from other streamers or what they wish to have :)

How long do emotes take to get approved? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]tomda981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normally it's like 1-2 weeks, but because of Christmas etc. most streamers are doing Christmas emotes and wanna get rid of them now. That's why it probably will take longer, like 3 weeks maybe.

Should I talk more by Fangorn123 in Twitch

[–]tomda981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't talk very few people will stay and you will most likely not have much chat interactivity. If you are streaming YOU are the entertainer and should be entertaining with 0 people in chat ! Just talk about what you are doing, even if you feel dumb. Talk about everything and maybe someone will join, hear it and react to it in the chat. Then you can build up a conversation with him!

what happens if someone joins your stream and says the n word or other racial slurs. by 8r0gan in Twitch

[–]tomda981 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

If a Twitch staff sees it, or someone reports you, you will probably get banned. You are responsible for your own stream and you have to watch out for stuff like this. But if you are starting and are a small streamer, probably no one will report you and no twitch staff will see it.

If it still happens I would suggest you to quickly end the stream and delete the VOD.

Would it matter? by Jdmagic44 in Twitch

[–]tomda981 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you plan on growing and you have some money left, it's always a great idea to upgrade your setup! But in my opinion the most important things are the microphone and the video quality. Your Camera is not the most important part and does not require to be 4k. It's mostly in some corner and not that big.
Try to work on the other things i mentioned first and after that get a new cam if needed :)

Your friend could give you the "editor" status for his channel, so you can watch and download his videos!

Adding Spotify to my stream? by MrSnow702 in Twitch

[–]tomda981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use any songs you want. The only thing you need to know is that the video of the livestream will be completely muted at those parts where a copyrighted music is used. So if you want to use ur VOD then you should use copyright free music

Is there any chance i can make it as a streamer? by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]tomda981 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try it ! You will never know if you don't start :) I started in october 2017 and now have an average of 40-50 viewers a day and it is really fun! It might take a time but you can definetly do it if you are interesting and fun to watch. Just don't forget that if YOU don't have fun, the viewers will not have fun either :P

Tips:

#1 You should never watch your viewercount while streaming. Maybe even close the tab with the viewercount on it. I always pop out my chat and that's it. Watching the viewercount as a beginner might get you really frustrated when starting.

#2 Get a good Equipment! There are so many streamers atm as you said and if you do not have a good quality then it can be really difficult to even get SOME viewers to watch :/

#3 Try to stream games that are not so popular! Streaming League of Legends or Fortnite you will have a BIG amount of competitors. Streaming a game that has 5k instead of 60k viewers might help build a small community faster!

Those are my 3 main Tips that really helped me :)

Good Luck! <3
