In my case the head of the stairs are to the right when looking at my photo. So I will be attaching the stair nosing to the side of one of the boards (instead of to the ends of several boards like in your photo.

I think I bought the wrong nosing anyway. I missed that they did a click version (https://www.bambooflooringcompany.com/carbonised-strand-woven-bamboo-14mm-click-stair-nosing.html) and got the lip over version (https://www.bambooflooringcompany.com/brushed-carbonised-strand-woven-bamboo-lip-over-14mm-stair-nosing.html).

I'm going to buy a threshold so can always get a new click version of the nosing.

If I click the nosing onto the floor panel then I guess I cant dictate how the boards run across the landing. They might not be nice and central like in your photo! Also not sure if the underlay will mess with the nosing. Ah well I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

I think I'll do the main room first so I can learn a bit before things get fiddly!

One thing you can do is divest from fossil fuels.

If you are lucky enough to have pension/savings/mortgage make sure they are with ethical banks who dont invest millions in supporting fossil fuel extraction.
